Worth the purchase
This is a great size and not too heavy, but good quality. Super nonstick!

Multiuse skillet
I love this skillet! It's so durable, easy to clean and has so many uses and it's Cuisinart!! I gave one to my son in law for Christmas and he loved it and used it!! I had an issue with my oven and found I go "bake" 4 biscuits in it on the stovetop. Great skillet.

Amazingly non-stick, cooks quickly
I've had other non-stick pans, but this one is so much better than those, they don't even belong in the same category. I still use a little olive oil when I cook -- habit -- but I think that's not really necessary. Even when the food starts to burn, it doesn't stick. RE: food starts to burn -- this pan cooks so much faster, and at lower heat, that it took some adjustments to my cooking. This pan cooks well with about 2/3rds the amount of heat as my other pans, in about 2/3rds the time. Now that I've figured all that out, I hardly ever burn the meat. <grin> Cleanup is a breeze. I wipe the pan with a damp paper towel as soon as I put the food on the plate, just to get rid of the leftover oil, sauce, whatever. (Probably not necessary, but I'd rather throw that stuff in the trash than run it down the drain.) When the pan is cool, I set it in the sink, add a few drops of dish liquid, fill it with water, and let it set for a while. I go back later and use a dishcloth or paper towel to rub the surface of the pan with the soapy water, rinse, and it's done. There's been no scrubbing necessary. (Maybe if I burned something to a crisp, but I haven't done that.) I bought the 8-inch skillet for single-person meals (4 oz meat) and the 12-inch skillet for family-sized meals (1 lb. meat). I like them so much that I've just ordered the 11-inch flat griddle; I expect it'll make reheating leftover pizza much easier. These pans are absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend them.

What a great pan
I just recently purchased a stove with sensi-temp burners, and the old frying pan wouldn't work on it as it was too light and wouldn't sit flat on the surface. This one sits flat, pre heats wonderfully and cooks the food in no time. A wonderful addition to my set and my new stove. The food didn't stick at all to the pan and cleaning it up was a breeze. It has a 'great weight to it, the handle did not get hot. It's just an overall great frying pan. Would highly recommend this.

Great skillet - very pleased but not perfect
This non-stick skillet makes it easy to get between the food and the surface. I've noticed that these Cuisinart products typically work well for a long period of time, but they lose that nearly perfect non-stick factor pretty quickly. Essentially, on a scale of 1-10, if the non-stick factor were a 10 when you buy it, it becomes a 7 to 7.5 on a non-stick factor scale within 4 to 5 uses, but it retains that mild level of non-stick factor for a minimum of 8 months to 2 years of regular use (2-3 times per week). From time to time, I use extra virgin olive oil or butter to aid it from not having food stick to the surfaces when I am cooking something that I am especially don't want sticking to the skillet. I have had this particular skillet for 6 months, and it still looks great and provides of enough non-stick to cook everything that I want. Although it probably doesn't matter to most, I find it nice that this skillet doesn't show signs of being used after 6 months. I realize that its purpose is for cooking and not a show piece, but there's something more inviting about using a piece of cookware that still looks new (or relatively new). Because of how good it still looks, I don't even consider replacing it (in addition to the fact that its non-stick qualities are still good enough). The handles are very sturdy which is nice. My previous skillet (non-Cuisinart) had a flimsy handle, and the handle broke within a couple months. It's nice to have the second handle on the opposite side of the skillet from the main handle. This can be very handy if needed, but I don't use it often. This skillet is relatively easy to clean, but be sure not to use any plastic or metal scrapers on it. Always use a sponge or a sponge brush. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. It's not a perfect skillet, but it's the closest thing that I have found to it. If all you want is perfect non-stick from a pan all of the time, the best bet is to buy a cheap brand's non-stick skillet and replace every 10-15 uses, but that's pretty wasteful and will cost you much more over time. If you want a great non-stick skillet which will last you a long time and be a great bang for your buck, this is probably it.

Buy this pan. You’ll be glad you did
Best sauté pan I’ve bought. Cooks evenly, the non-stick surface is unbelievable and you can brown with it. Solid and well-balanced and looks beautiful sitting on the stove! I’m buying another one it’s so good!

Excellent small skillet
I used the larger version of this frying pan for years with great results. This smaller version is super convenient and has both the heft and the non stick qualities of the larger pan. These pans are very durable and great for daily use.

Great size and very non-stick
Very impressed with the performance of this pan so far. I used it to make a 3 egg omelet for the trial run. Lots of vegetables, garlic, red pepper, broccoli with some chunks of real cheese. I normally use a bit of Real Olive Oil and a bit of butter mixed to keep my omelet from sticking and some times it was hard to get a spatula under it. With this pan I used the same but as soon as I poured the egg over the vegetables it set up in about 20 seconds and actually floated inside the pan, not sure I needed to add any oil or butter, it worked perfectly. One thing to note compared to my regularly used pan, this one takes a lot more time and a higher temperature to get it going. Even with scrambled eggs and cheese I was surprised at how much temperature it required to cook it. Clean up is basically a paper towel to remove left over debris and sponge wash, super easy. I like the design, size and shape of the pan. I hope it holds up. It’s not cheap but worth the money if it does last. Durability remains to be seen. 5🌟’s for now.
