Paul Noble does it again. All of his Unlocking books are a must read, and a great start to any of the language choices.

Una Bueno primero libro por aprendiendo Espanol.

Bought the book hoping it would coindide with the Spanish course on Audibles.it is totally different and also words taught are different. So it is kinda confusing. Bad money spend

I never take the time to leave reviews but I simply must as this is most definitely the best language learning tool I've ever used. I was rubbish at learning languages in school and consequently found myself not having a second language as an adult, over recent years, I tried everything from other books, audios, popular apps etc. but they all demanded too much. This book truly gets me and my "I really don't have the time to revise, write down or memorise things" learning style. The author actually asks you specifically not to do any of these and to take a break where necessary. Honestly, the way the book is designed is just perfect, especially for the creative, visual learners like myself. It's clean, clear, easy and fun to read, and impossible not to learn without even studying! It's a miracle. Just ordered the French, Italian and German ones too. Thank you so very much Paul Noble.

This is an interesting new way of getting into a language. I know a fair number of languages - not least Italian and French - but found learning Spanish extremely hard work, partly because I kept thinking in Italian. But the approach in this book - of building on similarities between English and Spanish and working from there, and moving forward gently & repetitively - has worked very well for me. It is, however, a starting point, though it gives good advice on how to build from where the book finishes.
