Sophistication without the pretentiousness, this mug completes the purity of a Chemex coffee experience. It’s not the most comfortable to drink from (think martini glass rather than coffee mug), but it’s good enough and you acclimate quickly. The size is just right (about 10oz) and its easy to clean. But its appearance is the most satisfying part, an art/science blend showcasing the warm coffee as it slightly steams the glass. I’m not sure if it actually makes the coffee taste better, but it sure seems like it.
