CAT8 is far more than most homes need due to pricing, but this makes it far more affordable and worth the purchase! Once you are connected with CAT8 cables you'll never look back. When purchasing cables you need to remember that one fast cable won't speed up your whole network. If you want fast speeds everywhere, all cables need to upgrade to truly get the utility of what the cables offer. I'm so glad that I made the choice to upgrade, and am working on upgrading the rest of my network to get the rest of the benefits.

It is sturdy and well insulated and the flat version is a plus it hides much nicer on the wall and routing it is also quite simple due to the flat design. I would argue that the terminals are not very good and could improve on them by either them metal or a much sturdier plasting. The terminal plastic by feel alone you can tell is very low quality. I managed to test the wire for Internet speeds and it appears to improve by 150Mbps over the cat5e transport. I say for the price using your gigabit connectivity you can't go wrong. I'm sure to upgrade all of my cat5e wiring to obtain that extra 150Mbps. I want it! I need it! more speed for gaming! (òÓ,)_\,,/
