VetriScience Glycoflex Plus Canine Formula

I've been using this for over 4 years now and this has to be the best thing I've even done for my dog! He's an 80# lab about to be 10 years old and he's not slowing down! He has 0 hip issues and plays fetch all day every day. I started this when he was 6 in hopes I could delay arthritis or hip issues that larger dogs are prone to. I didn't want him to have to be on prescriptions like pain meds so I started him on this early and it's totally worked! He is so so active and I really believe it's attributed to the glycoflex 3! He's a lab so he eats anything but he has no problem with the large chewable tablets. He doesn't even chew it, just gobbles it up. The maintenance dose at 80 lbs is 1 tablet a day so this is such a budget friendly option. I even prefer the ingredients in the glycoflex over cosequin and this is a better deal. I'm always researching what supplements I can give my dog to prolong his health and this ticked all the boxes. After 4 years of ordering this I've never gotten an expired or nasty batch. It's always been really a consistent quality product. I've found this glycoflex3 tab, along with the Ready Pet Go brand turmeric and collagen chew, plus Pet Honesty brand Omega 3 fish oil is the perfect trio for joint health. I started the turmeric chews and fish oil 2 years ago and they've been great affordable additions to the glycoflex 3. I'll keep my dog on these as long as he keeps tolerating them! He doesn't have any upset tummy with any of these supplements :) highly recommend!!

I bought this product 6 months ago because it had Green Lipid Mussle, recommended by the American Kennel Club. This product had all of the ingredients of a more expensive product that I was using, plus some. My 10 year old lab had started to decline, and was not interested in running the catch the ball, her eyes were getting milkier and she was generally just not really interested in moving around as much. After some research, I landed on this product. IT's MADE A MASSIVE DIFFERENCE and I share it with all of my friends. Not only is it under $40 for a 4 month supply (65 lb dog - so if your dog only needs half, its a 8 month supply), we noticed major improvements in our old girl. After just ONE week on this supplement, we noticed an increase in energy. A few weeks later, she was barking for us to throw the ball again, and 6 months later we are getting SHOCKED expressions when we say she is 10 years old. She is full of energy again, running around with her 5 year old sister, wrestling her sister again, chasing balls, going for walks without dragging behind and over all looks SO much better. We have several large dogs. We also live on a steep hill which is wet from rain most of the winter. One of our girls has Grade 2 elbow displasia. This is a repeat purchase of GlycoFlex. Last summer we adopted a middle-aged Dutch Shepherd (7+ years). She was favoring her hind leg intermittently, especially after play, so we took her to the vet because we thought she may have pulled something. We ended up getting an x-ray that showed some severe deterioration and displaysia in her right hip. The vet prescribed an anti-inflammatory, but our girl got sick and we started looking for a natural remedy. We thought we'd give GlycoFlex a try. After about 4 - 6 weeks our girl was experiencing only minimal pain when getting up after being down for an extended period. She also stopped favoring her hind leg when walking and playing. Now -- almost a year later -- she bounds up and down the stairs, is playful, walks daily, and only very rarely favors her leg. We also give her a daily dose of salmon oil. If you are looking for a natural anti-inflammatory, GlycoFlex with a dose of salmon oil is the ticket. The other great thing about GlycoFlex is the dosing - when you read the label on other products a normal dose is often 3 or 4 chews/tabs per day. With GlycoFlex, the initial dose (first 4 weeks) for our 52 lb. dog was one tab. The maintenance dose is now 1/2 tab per day. Given there are 120 tabs per bottle, this ends up being a very cost effective supplement. GlycoFlex 3 is the highest level for older dogs. I'd recommend getting GlycoFlex 1 or 2 to maintain joint health of your younger dogs!
