MaximaFishing Line One Shot Spool, Chameleon

I’ve used Maxima for over 45 years trout and salmon fishing and it's never let me down . Great knot strength, reasonable price and still catches the fish. Yes it deteriorates in sunlight but mark the spool year when you buy it and replace it when you think it’s time. Yes braid casts further than monofilaments on a spinning rod but this stuff works . Yes I use braid for beach casting but I still go to this line when making up leaders

No one sells the eighteen pound Maxima at local stores. I was very happy to find this. Maxima is great for building steelhead leaders.

I’ve used this fishing line for years and have always had great results. Great knot strength and durability. It is completely invisible to fish which is the greatest benefit!

Lots of memory which seems to make line twist worse, it's a bit tricky to control this line. But very strong and abrasion resistant. I like it so far.
