Works great on a scooter!
I was leery of buying this because it was for my emove cruiser v2. I do have front shocks but they are only 125mm with 20mm of travel. I was thinking this might take some of the sting out of the uneven pothole filled holes here in Bakersfield, Ca. I did some due diligence and looked into many different brands and designs before I settled on this one. Man am I glad I purchased this stem. It really is awesome! I went with the lightest spring due to no real weight being on the handlebars riding a scooter. They are definitely the right ones, this thing rides like a dream now. The springs are quite simple to change out. The build quality is phenomenal, a little more weight than my stock stem, but not a deal breaker. If you are riding a scooter, looking for a little more shock absorption than your current setup can handle, give it a shot… you’ll be glad you did!

Excellent upgrade for road bikes!
I've owned one of these Kinekt spring stems now for about a year, and put a couple thousand miles on it. I love these! I'm about 155 lb, so I had to use the lightest spring they provide, but it's about right. On most paved road bumps I hit now, it rides roughly in the center of its travel - and occasionally bottoms out on the really severe bumps on our lousy Michigan roads. That's about what I'd expect, for suspension tuning for any such bike part. My only (tiny) issue with it is, it seems a little-overdesigned (too heavy) for 'bike weight snobs'. That's ok, they can continue to get their teeth rattled by the rock-hard ride of their bikes :) ...Actually my next step with this will be to drill some lightening holes here and there on the assembly, away from the corners where stress is concentrated of course. Overall, a very worthy and helpful upgrade... even at it's significant price. One last thing - I did order (and return for refund), the similar RedShift polymer suspension stem this month. It just didn't measure up to the Kinekt's pleasant, wide and linear deflection. The RedShift's polymer 'springs' are way too stiff and nonlinear in action. Plus I kind of like the open, techy look of the Kinekt stem. Nice! UPDATE June 2024 - I now have these on three of my bikes (a carbon road bike and two of my e-bikes)... still very happy with them! A few here have been troubled by the small travel of the unit. I do agree it doesn't move a lot; at most there's maybe an inch of travel. But it's constrained by the stringent bending and twist requirements in a steering stem. It simply MUST be super stiff and strong for such loads. Also - IMHO, you get most of the utility from the first 10-15mm of travel in these; they crucially take the 'edge' off the initial jab or jerk of a sudden bump. I've now put thousands of miles on these, with no problems whatsoever. It's the mark of a great design and product, that now I barely notice them - nor the hundreds of jolts my wrists and shoulders used to absorb on each ride.

Great products, but their customer service is non-existent.
I'm really happy with the KINEKT Suspension Stem. Works great, but after installing it on my bike, I changed the spring to the lightest one, and when I did I lost the little lock screw for the pin. I've contacted Cirrus through emails and phone messages for the last three months to get a replacement screw, but they haven't bothered getting back to me at all.

For me more upright posture and smoother ride.
This stem provided two things for me. It got me more upright over my old stem with the 100mm 30 degree rise , it gives me significant suspension to smooth out the rough stuff and yes I have it paired with my cross country suspension fork. Together It's much better !! I feel it was worth the money.

Takes away handlebars shock/vibrations
Helps with the small vibrations coming through the handlebars. These are different vibrations than go through the front suspension. These small higher frequency vibrations bother my wrists. This item alleviated that problem

Easy install and feels SO good when riding. Although pricey ?

WORTH EVERY PENNY!
You will see the exact same pics on the review for the seatpost, these things are awesome! The stem does a fantastic job of taking the sharp edge off of the bumpy sections of the bike trails, it greatly reduces fatigue and the soreness us older folks feel after a long ride. I have put about 45 miles on the stem and it works flawlessly. There is no side to side flex when you jump out of the saddle and crank on it, it is STOUT! I will say this, and it's not a knock in any way, it just is what it is: this component is not light, if you are what we called a "spoke licker" back in the day, this isn't for you. I have the 90mm, 7 degree, and it weighs in at a stout 470g. Not as heavy as a suspension fork, or anywhere near as expensive. I STRONGLY recommend this thing, it is awesome! Now go read my review on the seatpost!

Riding is easier on the hand and wrists, but at a price.
Purchased the KINEKT suspension stem to help with wrist - arm fatigue riding on mostly pavement and gravel. My bike does not have suspension forks so this was plan B. I'm a big guy and I'm using the softest spring which provides some vibration damping and improves comfort. I would think this suspension stem would see much greater benefit on a mountain bike or similar for off-road riding on rough terrain. If mountain biking is your thing, suspension forks will work far better having greater damping travel. But lacking suspension forks, the KINEKT is the next best option, although an inferior one. The KINEKT is a quality built mechanical suspension stem. From a value proposition, the KINEKT is a bit overpriced IMHO.

I was skeptical at first and also concerned by possible lateral and undesired movements and play. Also doubius about the actual device ability to absorb any shock. But I was wrong: this thing is amazing. The added confort is real and it completely changes the ride, in a positive way. What I found interesting is that with the original spring and my load, the handlebar is somehow suspended and floating, meaning that shocks are absorded in both direction (upward and downward). This means that when the front wheel goes suddenly down (due to a hole or a step) the shock is partially absorbed before being transfered to the arms. Same as it happens with a suspended fork.
