Review for artists/doodlers: it’s darn good.
These are my favorite pens to use when drawing now. The black is quite bold and very smooth. It’s comfortable to hold. It dries quickly. If you use them for art then I can say if needing to fill in large portions of black in an area, it’s a quick task and it’s easy to avoid spottiness while doing so despite the fact how the pen is really good for creating small details due to its millimeter size. (See image to reference its size.) With that said, I was initially only interested in these due to the ultra fine tip point, but I had no idea how good these actually would turn out. Price is quite fair for the quality. I have no interest in trying something else out at this point, and I just hope the manufacturer will continue to produce them for a long time. Definitely a great staple pen for artists, so it goes without saying it’s great just for writing, too. Only down side for me is it’s not really waterproof so be careful when using other pens or markers around it.

Good pen for a job site.
Really appreciate these pens: the actual line is a little wider than .38mm, but not much. The ink flows freely and dries quickly, and works even when writing on something at odd angles. I like the spring clip for situations where I don't have a pocket handy to clip it onto, and the grip is also nice and keeps the pen steady in your hand, even when working in misty conditions.

Smooth writing and great for fine line work.
My favorite pen to use. I have repurchased three times since I use them so much. The ink runs smoothly and doesn't skip, which I love for drawings. It dries quickly and is comfortable to hold for long periods of time.

Better than you think!!!
I am a pen-aholic... I actually think I have some type of mental issue...I just love pens. I am an architect/project manager and I do keep long hand notes. So, a solid writing utensil is important to me. Based on that I think I have a pretty solid grasp for pen quality and pen deficiencies. With that said this pen is a cut above the rest. It is cost effective and has a beautiful quality of ink in it. It is not as deep as the Zebra SARASA dry .4. It has a nice thickness and it flows beautifully. The only thing better is a Pilot. (As I have said I have used and own lots of pens). For the cost you can't beat this pen. In regard to highlighting it depends on the highlighter used. There are highlighter options that will work with the ink in this pen. So, I would absolutely recommend this pen to anyone that uses a journal or (BUJO) or that takes long hand notes. I have not drawn with the pen so I didn't give it a full 5 stars. Also, I have not used it with watercolor or markers. Hope this helps. Thanks for reading.//Chuck

Great pens for the price. No smudging, smooth flowing ink, retractable.
I have been using these pens daily now for a few months, and really enjoy them. They have a nice crisp line when writing, ink does not smudge, even when using highlighters, and flows smoothly across the paper. I find them comfortable to hold, and the fine point is perfect when trying to fill in a planner that has too much to fit into a typical space for a day.

Smooth Glide, Uses all the ink, and comfortable for writing
I am a bit of a tool when it comes to pens. I like them to be below .5 and they have to feel and write right. Other pen brands have the issue of wasting the last portion of ink so you end up throwing away good ink. These pens are insane and waste 0% of the ink. Additionally they are smooth writers, reliable, and the clip on them is far better than your standard. It has a spring and everything! Anyway I’m a pen nerd and these are great. Would highly recommend.

Amazing but fragile
Writes amazingly with mild smearing. Unfortunately the plastic fractures easily. The plastic clip breaks easily and tip plastic can’t handle drops.
