My 16-year-old disgruntled cat used to pee on carpets & bath mats. No longer! Plugged in, peeing stopped. Ran out for awhile, peeing started again. Plugged back in, peeing stopped. That's scientific enough for me. Kitty seems happier as well. I wouldn't recommend this product lightly

Ronald Weasley started peeing everywhere after a long stretch of NOT peeing and nearly dying from a UTI. The vet suggested he was stressed, because he senses my anxiety and signals before an attack. After his surgery to reopen his pee pee and get stuff flowing again, he started to not like the 4 litter boxes we have for him and his brother, Harry James Potter. I plugged this in the fronchroom and he stopped peeing in there. Then, he started blessing the Dining Room. I plugged one in there, too. Now he gave up and decided his litter boxes are worthy and is so relaxed he wants me to get a human version so we can both chill the eff out. I wish the refills were available on subscribe and save, but it is worth the hassle of reordering if I don't have to shampoo the carpets every other day.

These appear to work at times and not at others. As a result, we switched to feeding calming treats to the one problem cat. Won't buy again

Be prepared to clean the wall above and the floor/surface below these diffusers!I bought two more diffusers (new design) because we added a kitten to our home of grumpy older cats and wanted to ease tensions. It works well like the Comfort Zone diffusers we've had for years (takes the edge of but doesn't sedate), but these new diffusers are super messy!The one at the end of the kitchen counter has nothing above it except the small lip of the counter, but the diffuser sputtered and left an oily mess on top of the counter, dripping down the cabinet and onto the tile floor (which is now slippery).The one in the bedroom is on the only wall that doesn't have furniture, but it has a wall hanging (and is under the A/C vent). There is an oily streak from the decor down to the diffuser, as well as a small puddle on the wood floor below. There is a noticeable oily aroma from this diffuser.I suggest buying the old style diffuser ... if you can find it.

This product is not functional at all. I purchased one, then two, and finally ended up with five of these in a 2000-square-foot house, but they don't work. This is the second time I've been fooled. I ordered these a few years ago and then decided to give them another try, but they fail every time. My cat is still spraying and anxious. Additionally, this product is very expensive for something that doesn't work. Two of the packages arrived damaged, with oil everywhere, and two of the bottles were almost empty.I spent almost $200 on refills for the diffuser because I wanted to believe that it would work this time, but after three months, I am done with it. Also, why does the oil spill everywhere when you try to replace it? Is it just me? I am very frustrated because nothing stops my cat from spraying, except putting a diaper on him all the time, which makes him so uncomfortable and stinky.

The pheromone diffusers are a necessity in our home. We have three cats that generally get along, but like to get scrappy with each other, too. These diffusers help keep the fighting to a minimum and help the cats to be less stressed. One of our guys has FLUTD and needs all the help he can get to stay stress-free and well. We have these on auto-ship so we always have them on hand. I've noticed that when we've run out in the past, the scrapping escalates.You won't notice a night-and-day change in your cat(s) in a day, but these do help in lowering stress and aggression over the course of a couple weeks and the benefits keep going as long as you keep using the diffuser. Each cartridge lasts about 30 days, have no scent, and are mess-free. We use one per 1250 sq ft.

New dispenser is HORRIBLE!Too bad I dutifully disposed of the old dispensers as instructed after they had been in service for the prescribed amount of time. The new dispensers sprayed oil all over the dining room wall and even on the bottom of a canvas painting above it. I thought it might be just a faulty unit, but checked the ones upstairs and those walls were covered with oil as well.I am a long-time customer and have no issues with the product itself, but now I have numerous refills and no dispenser that doesn't spray oil all over the walls. Since I don't want to ruin the walls, I will have to move on to another product.

This is the best thing that ever happened to me and my little hellion. To be fair, he was abused when I got him out of the shelter two years ago, so he has always been a biter. I would be a biter too if someone put a cigarette out on my head at 6 weeks of age! (Yes, someone put a cigarette out on this little Kitten’s head! So I took him home. Cannot believe it, but that’s his history) But about two days after I plugged the stuff in, he’s just calm as can be. He sleeps for longer periods of time and he just cuddles up with me every single morning. He hasn’t freaked out or bitten since I plugged this thing in. I will never run out of it because I’ll keep buying it. And you should too if you have a problem kitty.
