358839 Outdoor Fabric Spray Paint, 12 oz, Medium Gray

Good product, and it happened to match my gray auto interior perfectly -I was pleasently shocked.

My product arrived on time, I shook it vigorously per the instructions on the can of the Rust-Oleum fabric paint for outdoor swing cushions, and when I went to spray it it spit all over my cushions. I took the top off I cleaned it I shook it some more I could hear the little balls ringing everything was done perfectly I placed a return and it said it had I couldn't get a return so now I'm out money and my cushions are ruined.

I ordered 3 of these for a project. 2 stopped spraying within the first 30 seconds so I didn't try the third in hopes I could return it. NOPE! They do not accept returns. Wish I would have known what abad product was BEFORE I totally ruined my fabric on a chaise lounge. EXPENSIVE MISTAKE. I know have to have it recovered because there is 30 seconds worth of spray paint on it times 2.

The paint has to be painted on with a brush or sponge. It will take several coats I used almost 2 cans for one cushion. I sprayed it and then brushed it on. I guess it's an option if your furniture needs expensive cushions but if not I would buy cushions. If it was sold in a can or jar it would be better because just the shock of how it sprays is enough to ruin your day.

The color was exactly what I wanted. Dries quickly, is durable in both sun and rain. Works great to bring new life to old faded cushions. Very easy to use. The first coat soaks in, just use several light layers for a great outcome!

decided to try this before reupholstering my dining room table. the material got water stains when i tried to scrub it. I’m so happy I used this my chairs look new saved me time and money. recommend 100%

The paint itself is great. It had a nice color, it covers well, it does not end up still like paint. But… You will prep your surfaces. Clean it with soap and water, maybe use a degreaser or deeper cleanser to remove tougher areas, let it dry for days. You will put down cardboard, set up a pedestal to prop up the cushion for even coverage. You will read the can, follow instructions. You will shake that can for 5 minutes!! The first round of spray will come out nicely. I call this the “crack shot” because you will LOVE it. It goes in beautifully. The color is pure. And it just magically works. Until it doesn’t. There will be a sputter, the paint spray will choke, you may get a chug of paint that is more like silly string than paint. The sputter and the chug will not be smooth or even or light. Use a paint brush and distribute it or it will not be nice. This isn’t the issue though. The can clogs. You will unclog with water or isopropyl alcohol or vodka…whatever. You will spray again …magic it works…and you will feel like you’ve won. Then it clogs again 22 seconds later. Rinse. Repeat. Drink vodka. For a small number of cushions this may be fine. I had 37 plus 8 more in a different color. This was horrible. You must shake A LOT. The paint is thicker than most spray paint…but with the same nozzle. Shake often. Declog. Save caps and keep them soaking. Have a toothpick or needle for the nozzle hole. And be patient. I experienced my issue on the 3rd can. I swapped nozzles for a while and used another 5. The next set of can was just a nightmare Also, I found this later for $4.97 at the Home Depot clearance isle. It’s NOT worth much more
