It's loose and not a standard fit
The hot shoe mount is slightly smaller than standard dslr slot and remains loose even after tightening the screw twist. I wouldn't my phone in this thing and expect it to stay still or on the camera.. The clamp and the rest are fine though

Es un estupendo Holder para el teléfono, yo lo uso para poder sostener mi Iphone en el bastón DJI, el cual uso con el Osmo Pocket para utilizarlo como brazo de extensiòn y usar el teléfono como control remoto y ver la pantalla mas grande que la que incorpora el Osmo Pocket, lo único malo es que al tratar de colocar el celular dentro del Holder cuesta mucho trabajo, ya que el resorte que incorpora es un poco duro, por lo demás se ajusta perfectamente a mis necesidades, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

I am in love with this hot shoe adapter for my phone. As soon as I saw my ring light could fit this, I ordered it. Makes my life and filming so much easier with my S8, fits it like it was made for it. The lining inside is so soft and comfortably holds and protects my phone inside. Turnable all the way, 360 rotation with the swivel base and phone holder for vertical and horizontal shots and the base can move forwards or backwards with 180 movement. I can use my phone as a field monitor on top of my camera with this, such a great accessory.
