These balls are amazing, they have been used in hundreds of hours of dodgeball. Amazing for long Midwest winters when you are stuck indoors and your kids are driving you crazy. They can throw these at each other for hours and no one gets hurt. Your walls don’t get beat up and they make very little noise. But, beware, theses balls are the gateway to youth sports. If you give your kid a ball they will fall in love with sports. If they fall in love with sports they will ask to play youth sports. If you let them play youth sports your dream of sleeping in on weekends when the kids get a little older will be put on hold for a solid decade. On another note buy the book, “If you give a cat a cupcake.” Also, youth sports families are wicked fun so buy the balls, prepare for youth sports and nap when you can, totally worth it! You won’t regret buying these!

This is the second time we have purchased the Champion Rhino Skin Dodgeballs for our Bible Day Camp recreation. We have at least 200 children that attend each year, and their favorite game to play is "Out Ball", a type of dodgeball. These balls work so much better than the old Nerf type balls we used to use, which eventually began to fall apart and were often too hard once the foam dried up. They may cost more, but are well worth it as they are softer and last longer due to the tough "skin" that surrounds the foam core. We also liked that we had different sizes to choose from. This smaller 6" ball that comes in a set of 6, works perfectly for not just dodgeball, but for many other games.

Bought these Rhino balls for a student organization at the University I attend. Lots of fun, plenty of applications. We use these in our meeting room for dodgeball, human foosball, and much more. In one Jeopardy-like game, organization members pound other members with these balls when they answer a question incorrectly! Rhino Skin is soft enough that we don't have to worry about someone getting hurt or damaging the digital projector mounted to the room's ceiling, but heavy enough to throw well and give people incentive to dodge them. The only downside to this product is the price- over $50 for 6 balls...I'm not entirely sure these balls are worth $8.50 a piece. They seem durable, however, and I expect they will earn their keep in the long run.

I was a little nervous about purchasing these dodgeballs because of the price and I wasn't sure how big they were. These balls are worth every penny! They are the perfect size to throw and they don't hurt. We play dodgeball with our five children aged 9 - 2. The game is a family favorite and we love, love, love these amazing balls. I would buy them again and recommend them highly. Update: These balls are still our favorite. We play weekly games of dodgeball and they have held up beautifully. They have gone through a lot of abuse and have not torn. I am impressed by the material, even a hard throw does not sting. After visiting, my sister's family went home and ordered a set. I have witnessed kids age 1-18 love playing with these. (and adults as well!)

Awesome ball that I bought to throw around and think back to HS gym class. We used to use these balls for a free for all dodge ball game called "I Got It'. These balls can go fast, hit hard, and not hurt. The skin on the ball gives good grip while the soft foam inside makes it easy to throw. When you grip the ball it can breath and let out air as well making it easy to hold on to. This ball is also a little smaller than the ones we had, but less $ as well. The ball has a diameter of 7inches so it is still a good throwing size in adult hands, but it is small size.

Has a nice shell, good weight, and soft to use for a family friendly game of water polo. It won’t hurt the kids! Just don’t leave it in the pool overnight as it does slowly soak water in, but no issues with soaking water if using it in the pool for a couple of hours.

My brothers and I like to get together with some friends from our high school sports teams when we are in town for holidays. Most often we play basketball. I wasn't exited when we switched to dodgeball this year but after playing for a few hours I have decided that dodgeball is awesome as long as you have the right equipment. I bought these soon after. These balls allow all ages to play. They fly fast and accurate yet no pain when there is contact. I can throw the same speeds when playing with my brothers as as I do when playing with my young sons (though sometimes I take it easy on my sons). The only fear is getting tagged out, not how it feels to get hit. Durable too.

not as advertised, much cheaper

They are exactly what I expected and wanted. Strong and soft enough that when thrown with maximum force they can hurt a bit but wont truly injure anyone.

Really nice, bright colors. Kids love the balls. I like that they are gentler on the house when they hit furniture or walls or each other. Good for in the bouncy castle or practicing kicking/throwing in the house. Great for toddlers. These balls are rubber core, then foam coated with rhino skin. They are easy to grip. They are a low bounce ball. Delivery was prompt and packaging secure and professional. Balls were all in good shape on artival. My only complaint is that shipping was more expensive for the multicolored balls than single color set.

i purposely bought these pink ones to use under a UV light. they are brilliant. balls are the right size, firm, and fast!

I ordered the 8" multi pack. Balls came exactly as described. Quality seems great. The balls feel nice and firm and very throwable. Unfortunately they are soft enough that they don't leave my opponents withering in pain, but that's nothing that can't be fixed by stuffing them full of rocks.
