I read all the reviews on this product before purchasing. Here is a real review... It comes in 5 pieces and they screw together perfectly. It's strong enough as long as you're not going to use it to hit something. (If you are going to hit things, I recommend buying a broom handle, cutting it into pieces, and putting them in the sections before screwing them together.) As many reviews said, the gold dust does come off on your hands. I bought some clear coat paint and that should stop that issue. All in all, it is perfect for my halloween costume with just some clear paint over the gold.

I went as Ursula to a Halloween party. This trident completed my costume. The paint on it was rubbing off so I just resprayed it with some gold paint I had in the garage.

Looks legit! Is made of thicker gold painted plastic but will be great for my ursula costume!!!😍🥰😍🥰

The downside is that the paint comes off and your hands end up being gold. Make sure you wash your hands before eating, touching your face, or touching anything for that matter. Maybe the product maker could make the plastic that color instead of painting over it. But it’s just for a Halloween costume, so it does not have to be perfect. Also would be nice if they had options of adding more pieces to make it longer, so have the option of buying extension pieces.

This good for what we needed it. It was slightly bent to one side but it was ok. It is a hard plastic so it wasn't flimsy.

Very disappointed in this item, yes i know what i ordered but you expect some quality in a product no matter what it is. I ordered this for my son, it arrived in a timely manner but upon putting the product together my hands came away stained gold, apparently it was sprayed with gold paint and not sealed with a clear coat, because of this my sons hand were so coated with gold pain after 5 minutes that he had a reaction to it and his hands became irritated and swollen. We had to remove the caked up gold from his hands before he got any relief. Also the pieces were all bent and warped making the trident look like a C rather than l. I would like to give it more stars but because of this i cant.

It was easy to out together, good color, sturdy once assembled. The only thing was I had to spray it with a glaze to keep the gold from rubbing off on our hands. Otherwise I recommend this product.

Some of the plastic pieces that you need to screw together to assemble are crooked, so when it’s fully assembled, the pole is not straight

Was disappointed in the product. Not good quality and came in with many scuff marks on it? When holding the trident gold paint was coming off product and staining my hands. Not good when I wanted to give to my grandson??? Will be ordering a different bone from another company.

Left "gold" on my sons hands. Very cheap for the price. I think you can find better quality at a dollar store.
