Learned more about PLCs
I purchased both PLC books. I learned a lot of helpful information about PLCs. We will be forming our PLCs this year. Both of these books will be very helpful in this formation process.

PLC DO' for New and Veteran teachers
I have been a middle school teacher for 23 years. We were recently named a School to Watch. We have been a PLC school for a number of years (I don't remember how many). This book is a must read for beginners to understand PLC and get clear, concise answers to your many questions - and for those like me who are veteran PLC teachers who have not been to a training for a long time but could use up to date answers and information on PLC's at work. Great ideas to motivate the unmotivated on campus and get parents involved.

This book is like a PLC “cheat sheet”!!! Buy it quick if you lead PLC teams!
If you are a coach or an administrator, this book will save you from researching the answers to all those thorny PLC questions that arise. For example, how to help teams that do not collaborate, what to do with “singletons”, how big or small should a team be, how to harness the power of cross -curricular teams, etc… I ordered this book after our first year implementing the DuFour PLC Model. It has been so helpful, my only wish was that I knew about it before we started the PLC process! Buy it and read it now- it will be your secret PLC “cheat sheet”!!!
