The advent of COVID-19 posed serious challenges for our business, but we also saw interesting new opportunities created by the broad structural economic shifts that are occurring and changes in the preferences and needs of our customers. These changes have led us to rethink and reimagine how we should do business. Amit and Zott’s book has helped us a lot in this regard. It provides the necessary structure and discipline, both in terms of concepts as well as process, to think through the redesign of a business model. I would therefore recommend it as a “must-read” for all those who are involved in designing and implementing innovative, new business models.
