I had bought another case for my computer a few years ago that received its first cracks within two weeks of its purchase.After two months of regular use, this case is holding up very well. I like the matte finish. My kids think that my computer looks really cool now.I would buy this case again

Product is ok except the photo clearly shows a case with the apple logo cut out thus one us covered. So you are not buying what you want

I’ve got an late 2008 15” MacBook Pro that’s got some minor scuffs/scratches along with a slight indentation on the screen lid so I picked this up to hide all this cosmetic stuff along with add additional protection. I will say though that my only complaint would be how the lower portion attaches and can scratch/rub your hands/wrists when typing so you have to be aware/careful of that... Other than that I’d definitely suggest getting this case for additional protection!
