Learning basic skills through music volume 2
I have used Hap Palmer`s really excellent songs for many years teaching children with special needs. They love them. I have bought this recent CD for my 3 year old granddaughter. Lovely and great used at her birthday party.

School Bus music learning
This series along with other music selection are played on the school bus's CD radio that I drive for pre-school and early elementary students. Its a learning moment at times...and the other theme music CDs fill in the time until the kids get to school or home. (All with the school districts permission)

Wonderful
This is a classic I first encountered as a student teacher 20 years ago. It is just as good and just as relevant now. The songs reinforce concepts I am teaching or reviewing in class, like shapes, colors, telling time, numbers, etc. in a fun way that encourages participation and singing along and is never boring. The songs are quick, lively, and well-sung. Many of the songs encourage movement with careful directions within the song. Kids have to pay attention and listen to keep up. My kindergarteners absolutely love Hap Palmer, but children from toddlers through first grade could all benefit and get enough out of the music to enjoy it. It would be a little too easy for second graders, but they would still enjoy much of the music once in a while. I haven't found a Hap Palmer recording that wasn't outstanding. For those who are looking for more CDs for music and movement, check out the group Greg and Steve. My students love rainy-day p.e. times when we can't go outside, because we get out Greg and Steve's "Kids in Motion" CDs or others. These songs, like Hap Palmer's have kids moving to specific directions within fast-paced songs. These kinds of activities are Wonderful for all children, but especially for those who have trouble sitting or staying on task.

Learning Basic Skills Vol 11
This cd by Hap Palmer is the best! I am a teacher and we played the song "Triangle, Circle and Square" every day. The kids loved singing the song and holding up the laminated triangle, circle and square that I made for them while they listened to the song. There are other good songs on this cd as well. It's the best!

Hap Palmer is still the Best!
Hap Palmer records were handed to me as a sacred trust from another teacher when she retired. "You can look far and wide but you won't find an educator who understands children better." She wasn't kidding. When our records finally wore out, we were delighted to find them on CD. Our children beg for them.
