Barista Prima Dark Roast Extra Bold Coffee K-Cup, Italian Roast, 24 Count (Pack of 4)

Prima Barista makes my one and only coffee that I like to drink, Italian Roast. The Italian roast is dark, smooth, rich, and so delicious that drinking my coffee in the morning is the best part of my day. I used to buy this coffee local but they are no longer in business so I was panicking because no other local store carries it, so I went to Amazon to see if I could get it and now I purchase it by the case. Love this coffee!!!

This is my husband's favorite Kcup flavor. He really likes the dark roast flavor. I used to get it at Bed, Bath and Beyond but our store closed and they didn't have it on line most of the time. So glad I found it on Amazon.

These Italian Roast Barista Prima K-Cups are hands down the best on the market for those looking for a robust black coffee. And I've tracked it against many others! Personal preference aside, this is great coffee. The price is higher than many of those others you can buy in bulk, but worth it.

My K-cup ensemble consists of Barista Prima Dark Roast , Gavalua Dark Royal Roast, Starbucks French Roast, Peets French Roast. All very good. Quality of Barista Prima and Gavalia has weakened in the past 6 or 7 years IMO. But price has declined also. All 4 of these Dark Roast K-cups are tasty and well worth the price. Barista Prima is the best of these 4!

This is my regular kcup coffee, as high quality and rich flavored as more expensive branded options. But I purchased 4 boxes of 24, instead received 2 boxes of 48–and coffee grounds all over box interior.

I wasn't sure about these when I bought them, but the fact they were advertised to have more coffee in each pod than other so-called dark roast pods plus a few positive reviews enticed me to give them a try. First of all let us stipulate that K-cup coffee is not a high end brew; getting that out of the way what I want in a K-cup pod is something that passes for coffee when i am in a hurry or when I am waiting for a great cup of coffee to brew in the morning. This is easily the best K-cup coffee I have ever had and I will be purchasing it again soon as I am almost out. The 5 stars aren't because it is great coffee, they are because it is great Kuerig coffee which is not quite the same thing. In the end it all depends upon your point of view.

This is the only coffee I drink at home. I've been drinking it for about 5 years now. First I found it at Wal-mart but those days are over...then I had to drive all the way across town to Bed, Bath and Beyond as they were the only ones I could count on to have it in stock...then I started purchasing exclusively on Amazon. No more searching...just click a button and it shows up when I need it. Is this a great place or what? Deep, rich, flavor that reminds me of time spent with my family. Just the right amount of bitterness. Holds up to any creamer but my favorite is Sweet Italian Creme or just regular whipping creme is awesome too. But I caution you, when away from home, all other coffee will fall short and you will want to get home just for the sake of a good cup of joe.

I've tried lots of "dark roast" K-cups and this remains my favorite. As some have mentioned, on a scale, the pods are consistently heavier than others but I haven't verified whether the plastic, filter and lid are equal. But I LOVE the flavor. I can use the medium setting (8 oz.) on my machine and get a consistently delicious, rich cup of coffee. When I want decaf, I usually get the Tulley's French Roast which is almost as good as this caffeinated coffee. It's a bit more than some other brands, but worth it - really.

I will always have a Keurig so I can have this coffee. My absolute favourite. So rich and strong for kcup. So so good. Buy and you will not regret.
