Smaller than expected but still cool.

My son liked this car for his car collection

I don’t see how we received the toy scratched and paint chipped..and it’s not the “paints effect” it’s straight up rough and scratched on the corners and edges with missing red paint gashed off and chipped silver underneath. I can’t even return it cause my son won’t give it up now (he’s on the spectrum and gets very emotional) but I don’t understand how the packaging wasn’t open or torn itself?

I thought it would be "muddy" but there's only a little brown on the sides. Anyway, kinda let down.
