So Far, So Good
To be honest, I can only describe my results to date using Mice Defense. The period of time I’m alluding to is around one month; to determine whether this product yields a protective shield over a longer period of time will require, in all fairness, an additional 11 months to complete the year’s cycle. But I can say this so far: I like this product and hold out hope for its long-term efficacy. Why? Because of its saturation coverage, for starters. I feel hopeful that I have placed an effective barrier in the known points of entry of mice in the past. (Our Havaheart traps on average have snagged about 15 mice per year.) Further, the odor, which I hope is repellent to mice, is not unpleasant to my nose, and therefore Mice Defense can be used inside as well as outside (and is all-natural). And the product, because of its gallon size, can be used repeatedly—obviously depending on the size of the area being sprayed. At any rate, I’ll try to provide a longer-term answer as the months and seasons unfold. I should add that the owners of the company seem to be sincere about wanting me to be completely satisfied with Mice Defense, given our email exchanges. That’s another plus.

Though skeptical as to its effectiveness at first I started using the Mice Defense spray product in June, 2017. It works fine! The mint smell is not overwhelming and is pet safe. We had about ten mice caught during the last winter months. The aggravation of just knowing they're in the house is disgusting. I also used the old fashioned mouse traps to rid my house of the little grey field mice too. I live in a town house so I introduced the product to my neighbor as well. I have used 3/4 gallon so fa inside and outside. I have just ordered another gallon for this winter. I will take the suggestion to place moth balls around the house suggested in this comment column.

Love the scent
I dont know if this actually works but I love the scent. I did not see mice in house while using it. My frustration is with the spray. It worked initially then it just stopped pumping. After 2 gallons I gave up.

It's not perfect, but it pretty darn good.
Got a off grid log cabin in eastern Oregon that has always had a mouse/squired/pack rat problem. I first bought this product two years ago and it's pretty much drove all the critters away. This stuff works and it smells nice compared to other options. It doesn't keep spiders or bugs or wasps away but it does a pretty good job with rodents. A good squirt around doors and any possible entry ways once a week does the trick for me.

Not effective at all!
I was excited to have a natural repellant for my little rodent neighbors. I got the huge gallon size and started spraying the plant box right outside my rear window where the mice love to roam and climb up my window screen to try to get into my apt. I was shocked when just a half hour later I saw a few mice running along a board I had just sprayed and was STILL WET from the 'repellent' product! It rained later that day so I sprayed again! This time soaking the wood even more than before. They used this 'highway' to bridge the gap to get to my plant box. I set this up so I could keep track of my mouse invasion. This stuff does NOT work! I used Peppermint essential oil before with some success and was happy to have more than just 1 substance to do the job. It DOESN'T! I even added extra Peppermint oil that I had left over to the almost empty gallon product. It smelt better but was still not nearly as effective as advertised. If I had some left I would've returned it due to ineffectiveness! But I have about 10 squirts left and I'm sure they wouldn't take it back. DON"T waste your money on this ineffective product. I'm saving some so I can see if I can spray a mouse directly and soak it to see if they still have friends afterwards! A very disappointed customer!

Target the Worst Spot First
Something was chewing the bottom of wood bathroom cabinet. I save plastic bags under there and starting hearing a kind of rustling noise late nights. I had been using ammonia on the very prominent bite shaped holes but the tell tale sign was a pile of woody shavings in the morning. I got the Mice Defense and blasted the cabinet inside and all pipeline holes. The smell is extremely pepperminty and I learned mice hate that. I sprayed the trenches they had formed. Make sure you have plenty of ventilation because it is very very pepperminty. I noticed no little dust piles in about a week. Sprayed the second week and so no dusty piles. It works!

You have to stick to a multi day plan
I use it several times a week with good results.

Great product
Mom had this product and would spray every couple months. Not a mouse in the house. Just make sure you spray along foundations, basements and along walls inside the house including closets

I used this when our whole road got infested with rats after a major sewer pipe broke. Unfortunately we ended up with a nest in our hedge. The council provided pest control which resulted in bodies of dead and dieing rats on the pavements. After trying everything else I hit on this stuff - they used to make one specifically for rats too but it's not always available. The trick is as well as spraying, to pour the liquid neat near the nest or rodents' entry point to the house, or in places where you see them most. And it works! I used it regularly for a while until they'd gone, and then occasionally ever since just to remind them. It is non- toxic to pets & humans, so is safe to use indoors too - friends of mine have got rid of mice in their kitchens on my recommendation of this product. The smell is not unpleasant to us but rats can't stand it.

The house next door was closed with lots rubbish left inside and was filled with vermin. I used this product with traps to deter vermin that tried to enter our property. It seems to work and leaves a wonderful, minty, fresh smell where used. The supplier delivered very quickly and was well packed.

Excellent & natural. Above all nice smell! Was looking for something non toxic as I'm allergic and have dogs at home. I also hate mouse traps - horrible way to day even for mice. We sprayed the house and problem was solved in 24h, mice are skipping house with wide berth! Thanks!
