Q: I have thin straight Caucasian hair. Will this product work to hold curls in my curl-resistant hair?

You have described my hair perfectly. Let me give you a few tips that work for me. 1) Blow dry your hair until it is just damp. 2) I use the strongest concentration allowed for color treated hair. 4 or 5:1 I think.3) Use a sprayer, and thoroughly cover your hair, combing it through to the ends.4) since I use rollers (which gives curls that last for days!), I blow dry my hair with the Lottabody until damp before I set my hair.5) in the morning before I take the curlers out, I use hair spray. Let it dry, then take curlers out. This is the only product that keeps my hair looking picture perfect for several days in the NJ humidity. Of course, to look the best, it may need to be touched up with the curling iron if you would rather not sleep in rollers on nights that you don't wash your hair.I got these tips from a lady in Memphis where the humidity was high as well. Q: Can you use this setting lotion on dry hair?

i don't think it is meant for dry hair. but used on wet toweled, just washed hair it drys leaving it with a healthy sparkle. if you set your hair, the set lasts longer.

Q: Is lotta body setting lotion hard to wash out of your hair? in other words, after you wash it out, does your hair look or feel greasy/like straw/odd?

For me, not at all. My hair sets soft, shiny and bouncy. If you use too strong a mixture it can be flaky when dry, but in no way does give my hair the "straw" feel.

Best purchase ever!
