Wind-Powered 12” Ventilation Fan, Silent, Energy Saving for Sheds and Garages, Efficient Against Moisture and Mould.

A 70 year old brick shed, cold, damp and condensation dripping from the ceiling. It was a breeding ground for mould etc. The worst part of the instal was boring through the wall which was a bit of a pain but the results were worth the hassle. I took the time to ensure the duct pipe was level and true before setting the fan in place and it honestly only stops on days when we have absolutely no wind. It is silent 99% of the time. The odd times when the wind is gusting of the walls it hums through the vanes but it has never been of any concern and soon passes. The fan has been in operation for a year now and I have just purchase a second unit. The shed after 1 month of use whilst heading into late autumn was excellent after 3months it was free of the awful damp smell and no mould was present. The shed is now bone dry, fresh smelling and a place that can be used to store anything without the risk of damage. In summer its cool and in winter its cold but never musty or damp. The fan is better than I could ever imagined and has been through gales and gentle breezes but has never failed to work. The internal brickwork has totally dried out and has been painted to brighten the walls and for the money spent it has been worth every penny.

Good for ventilation for my summer house without use any electricity.

Added the fan to a garden room that was suffering with mold. Been on for 3-4 weeks and so far no regrowth.

Used it to remove heat from my shed in the summer months. It definitely helps and works well with the slightest breeze

No issue fitting or its operation but it does let rain through the fan which then ands up at the bottom of the pipe, used to vent a basement and clear signs of water which has come down the pipe. Perhaps should have some sort of extra hood or change the fan blade design

Poor blade design lets rain enter the ducting. We have to replace 2 now that we've realised what's happening. It's a shame because they are quiet and draw air well but this is absolutely a deal breaker unless you live somewhere very dry.

Ich habe diesen Ventilator zur besseren Entlüftung der Grube im Kleingarten verwendet und bin begeistert wie gut es funktioniert. Schon beim kleinsten Windzug beginnt das Teil völlig geräuschlos zu drehen und damit zu entlüften. Ich habe jetzt keine Gerüche mehr die in die Laube ziehen. Der Lagerung des Ventilators läuft in Öl, das mitgeliefert wird und vor Ort erst eingefüllt wird. Hierbei ist es allerdings sehr fummelig nach dem auffüllen die kleinen Gummistopfen aufzusetzen, die dann die Ölwanne im Ventilator verschließen. Die Standard Rohre aus dem Baumarkt lassen sich sehr gut mit dem Ventilator verbinden. Das Gerät mach insgesamt einen sehr wertigen Eindruck und man kann sich vorstellen das es auch ein paar Jährchen hält.

Jetzt läuft das Ding schon einige Jahre. Heuer im Frühjahr stand der Windflügel plötzlich. Ich baute Ihn ab und kontrollierte den Grund für den Stillstand. Im Lager war Wasser im Öl und dadurch entstand eine Reibung die den Stillstand verursachte. Habe Öl gewechselt ( für ca. 2 Ölwechsel wird das Öl mitgeliefert ) und er läuft wieder tadellos. Einen Stern ziehe ich ab weil die Abdichtung des Lagers meiner Meinung besser sein könnte. Mann solle, am besten vor der kalten Jahreszeit das Öl wechseln - oder warten bis er stehen bleibt, aber dann sofort wechseln so das keine Korrosion im Lager entstehen kann.

J'ai pu l'installer et étonnamment, il est silencieux, enfin pour le moment. Pour l'installation, j'ai acheté un réducteur excentré 110/100 mm et c'est parfait! Le résultat est rapide, plus du tout d'odeurs dans les WC et lors de la prise de bain ou douche. Je suis satisfait. Ce produit a résolu mon souci. A voir, à long terme ce que ça donne. Je recommande ce produit.
