These LED replacements for 118 mm Halogen lamps are an excellent choice. They fit really well although it should be noted that the LED casing is a larger diameter than the Halogen bulb and may not fit into some light assemblies and should be checked prior to purchase. It's easier handling the LED as it's ok to hold the casing if required rather than the Halogen bulb. The light output is a little down at 120watts compared with 150 watts of a halogen but huge advantage is lower heat disapation and if course running costs much lower. Good green alternative

Stairwell lighting. Much neater than original strangely shaped bulbs.

Comparing to an identical BC wattage bulb, it wasn’t as bright. Can’t answer for longevity as I’ve not had it long enough. Fitting was easy.

Light not as intense as the old halogen, but more than adequate. Not had the lamps for long, but I am confident that I will have no issues with early failures. I will ammend review if this does happen.

These have stopped being effective, flashing when turned on and now really low light, not what i expected and disappointed as LEDs are meant to last. Past returns window typically so will try the other one from this twin pack

Says they work with dimmers but mine is either full or flashing, very full light, quite dear for what you get
