As others have noted, this is not as big as what I replaced: The cylinder is only 9 1/8" long. Comes with hardware that only appears to work for an attachment to the top of the door frame, and not to the side on which the hinges attach. This reduces its leverage for pulling the door through the latch. I found that a quarter turn of the adjustment screw changed it from not fully closing, to slamming the door. I chose this because it matched my aluminum patio screen frame, because my Home Depot carried more robust models (also by Wright), but only in black or white.

We needed a simple solution to close our screen door and this did the trick.

Do Not Buy! I have bought two Weber grill lights from Amazon and both have not worked within two months, told my “return window” had expired!!
