It really works.
I'm a big WD** fan, so when somebody recommended this I was skeptical. I shouldn't have been - this is the best lube-in-a-can I've ever used. WD** is great for cleaning greasy/sticky parts and preventing rust, but Tri-Flow is WD** on steroids as a lubricant. Example: My shed has a 10'x10' sliding door that took 2 arms/2 legs to open. Without cleaning the track or wheels, I shot some Tri-Flow on there, opened and closed it a couple times, and now you can push it open with 1 finger. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't done it myself. That was over 2 years ago and it is still that easy to open. Works great for car door hinges, latches and key holes. Works great for house door hinges, sliding windows and patio doors, and garage door wheels, tracks and hinges. A little goes a long way and it lasts a long time. I tried the Tri-Flow grease after using this and it too is pretty amazing. It may seem a little expensive compared to other stuff out there, but you use less and it lasts longer, so it's a wash. I'll be buying more.

My favorite Spray Lubricant
This is my favorite spray lubricant. I've used Tri-Flow for several years with good results. For some reason it's been harder to find in stores lately so I was happy to find it on Amazon. The "Tri" in the name stands for triple action, "clean, protect and lubricate" and it does all that. I use it on everything including automotive fasteners, power equipment. locks, cables, bikes and hinges. It comes in an aerosol with a straw that helps to spray it in just the right place without making a mess. A can lasts along time since it takes very little product to do the job. It leaves a very thin film that is very slick and has an interesting banana scent. Here are the technical specs: Base Mineral Oil with PTFE, Color Brown, Temp. Range -60 Degrees to 475 Degrees F, Flash Point None, Dielectric Strength 10,500V, VOC Content 48.20 Percent, Specific Gravity 0.78, Metal Detectable No, Application Cables, Ball, Socket Joints, Air Power Tools, Conveyors, Electric Power Tools Tri-Flow is very popular with the bicycle community and can often be found on the shelf in bike shops. It does a very good job of reducing friction and wear and protects against corrosion. Stays on a bike chain for a long time. It's a very light viscosity lube that penetrates hard to reach places, much like a penetrating oil. I have a number of other spray lubricants on my shelf but Tri-Flow is my long term favorite. Highly recommended.

Tri-Flow does the trick.
I had read it was better than other lubricants for using in car ignition systems and moving parts- in my case to help when a key is getting stuck--and Yes, it really works well and helps the key to slip into the barrel. I would recommend, very easy to use with ultra thin pipe fitting in the nozzle.
