Love it! A few things to know about sizing...
I have been eyeing this Rago slip as early as my first peek at the Sears catalog as a young girl. I finally bought one! It's mine!First off--this thing is incredibly powerful at smoothing lumps and bumps!! Even back rolls! There is a reason Rago has existed and has a credible reputation.Secondly --the size I ordered wasn't right for me since I was looking for a daily power slip under my work clothes. I am a 40DDD, 32 waist, 48 hip, thick thighs. I was going to order the 42DD (smaller cup to help with the lift) but chose the 44DD. While it definitely fit, it was a chore to squeeze into and not something I'm willing or able to do everyday. I'm used to corsets and have worn medical Rx compression garments for nearly two decades. This was like putting them all on at once! I am going to exchange this one for a 48DD for being able to save myself the wrestling match of the century putting the shaper on.Lastly --this is an absolutely gorgeous garment. I chose the Mocha color. It's superior quality and classically sensual. The fabric is also not scratchy like many garments of this material can be. The bra straps are sturdy satin that are adjustable but do not have any give (which is important in a control bra). You'll be happy with choosing this over all the others on the market if you are aiming for serious control in your undergarments that are pleasing to the eye.Tip: order by the largest part or your core to get the easiest fit (while still doing a fine smoothing job). You'll still need 5 to 10 mins to put it on, and a cocktail afterwards to relax but you will be one sassy lass in this slip!

Not sure I'll use it as I expected...
I bought this because I'm looking to move into a pin-up look, or at the very least do a couple of photo shoots. Initially I was planning to return it, because getting it on was a pain. It is pretty stretchy, but I had to stretch it out some (kind of like you would a balloon before you blow it up) before I could get it on and even then it was a hassle. I have broad shoulders, which made getting the body of this item past my bust almost painful. I also have a long torso, so this item is borderline too short for me.I've worn it around my house a couple of times now, but I'm still on the fence about whether or not I'll wear it out and actually under clothing. I've also considered buying a different size to see if it fits better.

Nice girdle
Ok let me just start by saying we had tried one on in a store so we knew ahead what size and how it fit. That said these are very small but have a lot of stretch. My wife wears a size 6-8 dress and has 36B bust so i ordered a 38bB as i did not want it to be too tight or squish her breasts. It fit great but it is a struggle to get on as she has to pull it on over her head. Her hips are about 39"-40" and her waist is 30". It looks great on and really helps hold her in. The garter tabs are metal which is nice but the adjusters and hardware on the shoulder straps looks to be plastic so that's why i only went 4 stars.Okay so let me share a little more. My wife used to weigh about 245 and wore a size 18-20 dress size. She had a gastric sleeve and lost about 100 pounds. While she was loosing weight she wore compression garments purchased from Marena. I can not tell you how glad I am that we did that because even at her age (mid 40's) these seemed to be very helpful in reducing the amount of excess skin. She still has many of these compression garments that she wears regularly as they are comfortable and functional. Although she has lost the weight she does have some excess skin and her breasts need support. This gives great support and gives her more shape.

Vintage shape wear for modern times
A fantastic girdle for wearing vintage clothing, a must really. A generous amount of stretch to get it on (and a wiggle to get it up) but a truly extra firm hold. Reading some of the reviews might put you off if you’re unaware of what this is. This isn’t like your typical modern full body shaper, this is a completely vintage silhouette. Girdles do not accentuate your waist or lift your bottom they smooth you out all over for a straight look which was the goal way back when. If you’re wanting a nipped waist a cincher or corset is probably your best bet. Also the cups are cone shaped not the smooth rounded shape. I bought a 36C going slightly larger than my 34” waist and it still goes over my 44” hips and bottom. The fit is tight and very smoothing but not uncomfortable, the material is breath able. Overall very happy with my purchase and definitely want another or other shapers from Rago.

Corselette
Rago is an excellent company for the retro genre. Well made, size, and fit.

If you’re looking for quality, Look Elsewhere!
Made with the Cheapest material they could find. The quality makes me question the integrity of the brand. With that being said, I am not sure if I received a counterfeit in place of a RAGO body briefer. The fit is flattering from an anterior point of view. Unless you have excess back fat. If you do have some chunk in the back it will spill and in my opinion counter the hourglass silhouette. I am only 5 feet tall and I felt that this was pretty short and didn’t come down long enough. The cup size was not true to size and was lined with a scratchy thin layer of polyester batting.

If you have an hourglass body, skip this one
I really wanted to like this. I have been reading millions of reviews and finally bit there bullet. Honestly, I’m pretty disappointed.I have an hourglass shape with lots of junk in the trunk. I’m a 34d and my hip measurement can get up to 43”, and after reading the reviews I went with the 36 C.I should have just gotten the long line bra and a different lower-half shaper, because this is not long enough, not tight enough through the middle to do anything for me, and the hip shaper bit cuts out a muffin top where I don’t actually have one. The garters can’t be adjusted for length, so unless you are a tiny person with really long nylons, good luck getting them connected (I’m 5’3, sooo….. if you are tall, best of luck)Unfortunately I already took the tags off, so I’m stuck with this and pretty salty about it :(
