Works to extend AV in our church
We use these for extending the distance from our computers to our projectors, and from running HDMI from the pulpit back to the TV control room in another part of the church. HDMI is usually only good for 25 feet or less, after which the signal degrades dramatically; with a pair of these Black Magic converters, we can run several hundred feet over coax. This brand seems to be more reliable and gives a better signal that other types we've tested, so although it may cost a bit more, it definitely delivers.

This little gem does exactly what it is supposed to do. Provides a flawless signal in the correct format with no hiccups.

Works very well!
I use these in my production setup. I have been very happy with them so far. It is powered by USBC and that makes me very happy. That gives me the options for power. So far the have functioned superbly. They are just little more money than generic alternatives but they work well. If I had one wish, it would be that they could be mounted without purchasing additional hardware.

Works flawlessly.
I do the Live Stream for Tennessee Saddle Club Association every year. I needed to convert my HDMI to SDI to run a longer distance than possible with an HDMI cable. About 200'. I used a second one to convert back to HDMI in 2023 and in 2024, I had a new switcher that was SDI so I used an HDMI to SDI and into the switcher. Both ways worked perfectly. The SDI broadcasts looks better, but same camera.

Blackmagic HDMI-SDI converter
Works great for converting HDMI to SDI format. Use it to connect my Nintendo Switch to my Ikegami broadcast monitor. No noticeable latency and produces a clear picture. If you are a weirdo like me that wants to play modern consoles/PC on your SDI compatible BVM or other pro monitors this isn’t a bad option.

Reliable sdi over rg6 hd belden
Ive had a customer that had a monitor 250ft away and had problems with hdbaset I decided to change to hdmi to sdi and cant complain been running since . One key factor dont skimp on the cable !!!
