Worth the extra cost over some cheaper pads. These are nice and actually stay on. Size ranges are wide and flexible. Good closures. Comfortable. Got size S for a 4 yo and M for a very tall 6 yo. M is a little big but works and will fit for a long time.

Great fit for my 11 year old, with room to grow. He wanted killer pads, but their smallest size was still huge on him. These are significantly bigger than the YS he had previously and seem thicker. Last set lasted about 3 years before the pads started to feel compressed, so happy with that.

These were perfect for my 8 year old nephew. He's average size and they fit him well. The knee pads were a little snug but not uncomfortable for him. The wrist protectors are great. These are perfect for skateboarding. I think these were the best quality pads I could find on Amazon.

These are great !!! My son who is a 65lb 6 year old fits nicely in them!!! They do occasionally hurt the back of his knee. The Velcro if not done just right will scrape his skin if he wears shorts. but they are super high quality and gives him the protection he needs!!! However I do not believe he will be able to wear them next year as they are perfect for him now but when he gets bigger they will be too small. Luckily I have a nephew I can hand them down to, and I do believe they will last a great deal longer. I think I purchased the medium

First of, I really don't know how tall my daughter is or how much she weighs but I think she's an average 9 year old kid. Not tall, not short, not fat, not skinny.Quality: After three half-hour outings (she's fallen one), the wrist guard is already falling apart while the elbow and knee pads still looks like new. The elbow and knee pads looks like they will last a long time.Fit/Sizing: The wrist guard and elbow pad fits perfectly on her but the knee pad is a bit tight. I ordered the smallest adult version knee pad and that is a bit big on her but it is more comfortable.So base on my experience, it might be worth it to buy these pads individually. Maybe even get a different brand of wrist guard.

My daughter just turned 10, not a tall 10 thought. I was a little concerned these might be too big, but they fit well.The big Pros for these Jr pads is by far the quality and comfort. If you have kids, like me, that have had the cheap starter pads from Target or Amazon that totally wore out and/or were uncomfortable, scratchy and slid all over the place - these are what you've been looking for. My daughter is much more comfortable with these, they don't move around and the velcro doesn't touch her skin. The fabric is a little hotter than just velcro straps, but she complained about heat in the old ones as well. She's sucking it up.One other advantage is the recognizable name - we see the olympic skaters wearing Pro-Tec as well and that does help with the cool factor and that everyone needs to wear pads!

These have protected my wrist, knees, and elbows so far without any cracks in the shells, tears at any seams, or discomfort at any of the joints.I did have to go to the manufacturer's website to get a better handle on how they do the sizing, but Amazon had them at least in stock versus the actual manufacturer's website which was a plus.
