Highly Recommended
The paper is thick and does not bleed. I thought the color was dark like the picture, but it was a little lighter. The delivery was faster than expected as well in the UAE. Worth the money. Will definitely buy again!

THEY CHANGED THE PAPER!!! :'(
Seriously - their new paper is card stock. Anyone using watercolors and sharpies will rejoice.I bought one of these back in April, and I LOVED it. Paper was a great color (off-white/cream), the dots and page numbers were visible but light enough to not be a hindrance, and the paper weight was PERFECT (100 gsm) - thick enough to not ghost too badly and thin enough to have lots of pages that feel like paper - not card stock. I spent AGES looking for a notebook with the right paper thickness (Leuchtturm is tissue paper - most others use card stock). I'm not playing with water colors - I just want a normal ink pen to not to be completely legible on the verso pages. My ONLY complaint was that the colors/design were for a 12 year-old girl, so I was super excited to see a nice navy blue color. I was so excited to get my new notebook (just in time to start a new one on my birthday), only to find really thick paper inside...160gsm.Literally card stock. It's ridiculous.Only 150 pages instead of the old 200. It's WHITE paper with DARK dots and page numbers. Page numbers actually look a little like navy blue. At first I thought it was the new color, but according to the product description even the teal with pink band (what I got in April) is now 160 gsm.I know it's ridiculous to be upset about a journal, but if they are going to significantly change their product they should make it clear using a different product page.Pros:- numbered pages- grid center point marks- two bookmarksCons:- really thick, white paper - it's like cardstock- bubble font and "cute" designed wasted pages

Good journal overall but some disappointment.
First journal by this company. I'm absolutely in love with this journal. It is of good quality right down to the feel of the paper. The binding is well done. The ribbons are beautiful and functional. The dots are a nice visible gray. But won't detract from whatever you put in it. I bought the purple journal and it is true to color with the picture online. The pen loop is a bit tight and had some difficulty fitting slightly larger pens, however I believe that will change with a bit of use. I will definitely be buying more. Worth every penny.Update:I'm a little upset I haven't even had this journal a week and the pen loop fell off. I would exchange it however, I've already started writing in it, and there's no way that I can find to contact the seller. The journal is still functional of course, but I am disappointed in this. The loop hole looks like there wasn't much glue on it to bind it to the journal.

Almost the best journal...
I picked this up for my first "official" bullet journal to replace the cheap one I'd had for a trial run to see if I'd like it. The last one I had ghosted like crazy and even fine liners soaked through the pages so the biggest selling point for me was the paper weight. Its pages are a beautiful cream color and heavier than popular other journals so you'll see very little ghosting except with the heaviest of pens. Alcohol markers like copics will still soak right through but I expected that even though I had to test it anyway. So far it's held up to everything else and only bled a little with a healthy dose of liquid on a watercolor wash. I did this with the intention of seeing how much it could take and it didn't disappoint, in fact it warped very little.. impressive! I really like the "pen test pages", which saved me making my own and the generous index. I'm not sure what I'm going to put in the pocket in the back but you can bet I'm going to get use out of it! I haven't used the pen loop much but mine seems to show a little give in the glue so I'm leery of abusing it too much.Okay, for the cons now. I guess I read the description wrong because when I think semi-soft I think a nice cover with a little flex to it, something that will make it easy to slide in and out of a purse or bag. This cover is clearly stiff cardboard underneath and the one thing about the journal that feels extremely cheap. The material used on it is nice and soft at least but it hardly feels like most synthetic leathers and more like rubber to me. I still like it but no one is going to pick up this book and think it's anything but plastic. Also, it's only been in my work bag less than a week and there are already scuff marks on it. In general the cover also adds a lot of bulk to the whole book which is supposed to be portable. The journal does mostly lay flat, meaning the pages open nicely but the thick spine gets in the way of true flatness when on a table, which you won't notice until you start writing on it and it wiggles. Books aren't waterproof, and so while I think the waterproof cover is a cute selling point but I'd rather see a little water resistance for accidental splashes and a less chunky product. In all, it's a nice journal with handy features (did I mention I like the numbered pages and two ribbon marks?) that feels quality made but next year I'll be picking up another brand that has a more flexible or at least less chunky cover... unless they come out with a soft or flexible covered one, then I'd be back for more.

Some issues, but overall a great product.
I've purchased two of these in the past, a black one and a teal one. I decided to use the black one religiously for my bullet journaling. There is very little bleed, though I have found non-bleed sharpies do go through the page. I use this journal every single day and eventually the strap that holds the pen completely came unglued from the inside. I tried to fix it, but there was no luck. That's the only reason I'm giving this product 4 stars instead of 5. I do enjoy the two ribbons and the elastic strap that holds it together. Also the pocket in the back to put stickers is great. It has 201 writing pages inside of it, and I honestly wish it had more though I know that's not standard for other bullet journals. If you're a planning junkie and love to BUJO, this is a great journal. I do plan on buying another one for the new year. If anyone finds as 400 page bujo, let me know. I NEED IT IN MY LIFE!
