It’s always a challenge to find a decent gift for my mother.Every year at Christmas, her birthday and Mother’s Day I find myself in a quandary.For years I always gave her flowers.She has since made it known that they’re just too much of a bother.She’s a big tea drinker, (and LOVES Tea Forté products).I thought that would answer my gift question, but she now has too much of it stockpiled....Ixnay on the ee-Tay.So...What to give the 88 year-old woman that has everything?Knowing her fondness for nice boxes, and her love of cedar, a Cedar Essence Keepsake Memory Box seemed like a no-brainer.When this arrived, I thoroughly impressed.This classy box is everything it’s cracked up to be:Beautifully constructed of premium materials that looks great and smells better.People will think you spent a mint on this.I gotta tell you, when you give this box as a gift, you are hitting it out of the park.She was absolutely thrilled, and keeps her beloved box on her bedside table, as a “perfect place to store my bedtime things.”Now I have to figure out what to give her next Christmas.Hopefully she’ll need more tea by then.

I love the cedar inside and the fact there are various patterns in the wood. Quality material and craftsmanship. I bought two. Their wood grain, both cedar but with difference in appearance. Loved these. Precious trees.

Craftsmanship is excellent. Beautiful keepsake box

Smells wonderfully of cedar and craftsmanship has edges matched up well and latch snug so it doesn't fly open. Only thing I do wish is that it was stained darker. Looks like it just got a clear coat..which is great in itself. I just assumed it would be darker based on the image advertised. So this box doesn't match my other ones..which look like the image advertised. So that's my only negative..perhaps the picture being misleading should be addressed, but overall, I'm happy. There are worse things.

It was a bit smaller than I expected

I loved this product. My original was destroyed in a burglary and this was just what I was looking for. Excellent craftmanship and worth every penny.
