Urnex Cafiza Espresso Machine Cleaning Tablets - 100 Tablets - Professional Espresso Machine Cleaner Barista Use

Works really well for back flushing my Rocket espresso machine. The instructions say to run 5 cycles with the product, then 5 cycles to rinse. They should also say “wait 30 seconds or more between cycles” to give the product time to work on the coffee oils and help dissolve them. The more frequently you use this product, the less frequently you’ll have to take the shower head off to clean or, or strip down the group head to clean it. You’ll still should do that occasionally for a deep clean, but this is a great way to get a solid clean in-between deep cleanings.

Used this for cleaning Jura z10. Works well and is much more affordable than the Jura products.

I bought my Breville espresso machine a few years back, and I have been using filtered water for the most part. I tend to wait until the clean lights turn on before taking action, and I've noticed that can take a while. Once I ran out of the 2 cleaning tabs that came with the machine, I started to worry. I read up online, and someone recommended these particular tablets. They're not too expensive, and they come with a good amount. 60 cleanings should last me a while. I haven't noticed a change in the way the espresso tastes after cleaning from when I first got the machine, so I would guess that's a good thing. All in all, for the money these tablets aren't bad.

I purchased these tablets to flush out and descale my 1930s chrome percolator, which was in dire need of a cleaning. Cafiza products may be designed for sophisticated espresso machines, but I figured they would work just as well on coffee urns and other brewing apparatuses. I was right. First, I removed the grounds basket and filter assembly before filling the reservoir with water, replaced the lid and let it heat to boiling. I then lifted the lid again and dropped two Cafiza tablets into the water, which sunk to the bottom and began to dissolve. Within minutes, the water turned a milky white, and I could see a beer-like lacing coat the reservoir wall with film. After 15 more minutes, I unplugged the unit and allowed it to soak for 30 minutes. After draining and rinsing thoroughly, and repeating the process with the basket assembly, I made my first post-cleaning batch of coffee- and it was *AMAZING.* For one thing, you could smell the subtleties of the roast more clearly. It was an intense, fresh coffee smell, the kind you associate equally with greasy diners and bougie coffeehouses. My first cup was delicious. The brew, and it's lovely oils, poured forth, untainted by the taste of cooked-on coffee, metal, or decades of mineral deposits that had plagued my urn since I bought it.. It tasted like new. This is a great product, but unfortunately isn't very usable despite being in a sealed package with padding. Almost all of the tablets are broken.

Gets the crap out. These are quite a bit larger than the their previous tabs I used. Apparently they come in different sizes for different applications but they are as good in any size.

This product is great for backflushing the brewing group (head) but it is NOT a descaler, despite the product listing. Beware!

Es muy facil de usar pues solo depositas una pastilla en el deposito de cafe molido y sigues las instrucciones de tu maquina.

Work great in my espresso machine, I've used it for two cleaning cycles so far. Great value - more tablets for half the price of my espresso maker's version. One note: I tried a tablet in my electric kettle to remove some hard water residue, but the tablets were not as effective as vinegar.
