I've had this kit for a while now and I've used it a lot and it's great. Still going strong through all the things I've carved

I am a total beginner, and don’t know what I don’t know yet. But these came reasonably sharp out of the box. They are easy to handle and the strop is nice to keep the blade cutting the basswood nicely.

I preferred beaver craft. This set is nice however the blade covers feel cheap also the bags bands, the gloves barely fit my big hands, the wax feels so plastic like 🙁 and the strop looked like it's been rolled up in a pocket for a week. Nothing is broken however and I do like it for a 2nd set, I believe it's better then beaver craft for beginners in tool amounts but quality is lacking compared to the most feared animal of the bark....Beaver Craft.

Bought this as a gift for my son. He was amazed at all the items that came in the set and has already started putting the tools to work on his very first carving.

It was a birthday gift to my brother who is a wood carver.

Complete kit and just great quality.

Only 4 stars bc should come w/gauze until you learn the hard way to use the gloves included
