Adata SU650 120GB 3D-NAND 2.5" SATA III High Speed Read up to 520MB/s Internal SSD (ASU650SS-120GT-R)

I bought this SSD (which arrived as a HIKVISION brand, rather than an Adata brand) on the 31st of August to use it as a boot drive for a PC I barely ever used. 3 weeks in, the PC became very slow and eventually I started getting Read Write errors until the PC could no longer boot (28th of September). I already surpassed my return window 2 weeks ago. Money gone down the drain.

Bastante rápido para revivir alguna plataforma que aún use SATA III o SATA III como mínimo...Recomiendo ampliamente usar mínimo un SSD de 480 GB ya que la diferencia de precio son al rededor de $200 o $300 pesos más y te va a servir mucho mejor uno de 480 GB a uno de 120 GB, obviamente depende de tus necesidades.ADATA nunca me ha fallado en sus SSD SATA III y en sus SSD NVME M.2 , son calidad-precio y casi siempre hay ofertas. 😎👌🏻

So first thing’s first, this is a cheap SSD. It’s just a step above an old mechanical HDD, and does not have a cache. That limits its read/write speed quite a good amount. However, for my (somewhat niche) needs, it’s just what I needed. I’m using this SSD as the OS boot drive for my budget TrueNAS server, and it’s been chugging along without any SMART errors or mysterious slowdowns. If you’re trying to save money, it’s a good option. If you want something blazingly fast, get an SSD that has a cache.

My daughter fried her hard drive, so I took to the internet to figure out how hard it would be to simply replace a hard drive. I took a chance by buying the same exact kind that she had already had but in a smaller gigabyte her original hard drive was a two terabyte. After installing which was easy as unplugging and replugging in the wires, I put everything back together and rebooted hitting the button to make sure to go to my setup menu and after reinstalling Windows and setting up the partitions it runs like a dream! It's so quick, so clean I am really happy so far with this product will update in a couple weeks.
