Not sure what the previous reviewer was referring to about the Thompson being a "fantasy gun". After reading that review I actually had my expectations for the entire package lowered a bit. However, I was pleasantly surprised! No, it doesn't have the detail quality of the $300-400 Saving Private Ryan authorized figures, but it does look better than the photos on Amazon. And as to the Thompson, it may not be 100% correct, then again, it's DAMN close. It has the ribbed barrel and Cutts compensator from the earlier Model 1928A1, and the side charging handle and rear site of the later M1A1 version. But, army armorers being what they are, and doing what they do (rebuilding guns from piles of parts) it's not at all unfeasible that such a gun was assembled in an armory and issued at some point. But that's really only minutia that a real gun buff would pick up on! Over all I think its a very faithful little replica of a great wartime firearm. I bought this as a driver figure for my new 1/6th scale Willy MB. Haven't received the Willys yet so can't comment on fit. But, I do know a few tricks and I am a certified doll surgeon if modifications are required. The figure is VERY articulated so I have no doubt that this can be positioned in pretty much any pose that I real human can be found, and several that they can't. The uniform, boots, and accessories are nothing special, but honestly, they're not bad at all for what they are. The little shovel folds like the real thing, the ruck sack can actually be worn, as can the butt pack. I suppose the hand grenades can be hung on the belt, as could the folding shovel. The revolver is the only piece that doesn't "quite" fit. Its a replica of a S&W Model 60 so not really period correct. And as it doesn't include a holster, I'm not sure what to do with it. May find some way of sticking it in the Jeep just because... Will be doing some patina affects to the whole kit to add a little realism, and think this will make a great low cost addition to the Willys, with a little work. May even buy another, change up the uniform patina a bit, paint a 5 o'clock stubble on one, and have one driving and the other riding while carrying his Thompson. All in all I'd say, if you have a need of something like this, and are maybe on the fence, just buy it. It's small money, and I think you may be as pleasantly surprise by the quality as I was.

It’s a little bit bigger than I thought it was going to be so it has an issue when it sits a little high, in my jeep that I got, but it works for what I wanted to do

Present for my grandson whose dad loved playing with 12 inch GI Joe’s when he was little and now loves playing with his son! This set was great set for “playing Army” and learning about WWII.

I got this you for my son’s 2nd birthday present. I’m not sure who enjoyed it more, my son or my husband and a few of his friends. The amount of detail into the included accessories is insane. The revolver spins and the mag comes out of the firearm. It will be the coolest toy that my son will lose all the pieces too. We will be looking into buying more from this brand, if not for my son but for my husband and his friends. 12/10 would recommend.

Es increíble!!El soldado está bien hecho cuenta con muchas articulaciones y un gran detalle, además tiene muchos accesorios que lo hacen resaltar bastante, quizás lo único que no me convence es el casco ya que tiene una forma un poco extraña pero quitando ese pequeño detalle el juguete es increíble.
