I love these strings for their tonality and softness.... great for a novice like me

This is all about one’s preference and the kind of stuff one plays. This suits beginners better because of a lighter gauge. For the same reason it works for people who are playing high, playing lead on acoustic and doing songs that require bending/ pulling. Since it’s lighter, the sound is a tad bright, so if your playing is restricted to strumming chords and rhythm, give this a miss. Go for the 10-46 or 11-52 sets. While I said bright, that’s only relative to the heavier gauge strings, the sound is warm because of the bronze used. Because of the typical way these strings are used (more bending pulling) the longevity naturally is less compared to heavier gauge strings. That said these are a very good buy. It all depends on your requirement.

Really good especially for beginners helps in longer practice sessions due light gauge .
