Even though I knew a lot of the information in this book, I found a lot of helpful information that I didn't know and I have been really trying to apply the principles in the book. It is too early to tell how soon it will help my credit score. It is an easy-to-read book and if you are just trying to establish a credit history, this is the book for you. It also is helpful for someone trying to improve their score.

This book is a 2 for 1 deal in the sense that is discusses credit scoring and how it works and interacts with other industries. But it also goes over quality personal finance education.

The main use for this book is, obviously, for someone who wants to raise their credit score. The first part of the book explains how credit scores are calculated which is useful in understanding how one got into a particular mess to begin with. The second part provides guidance regarding rehabilitating one's score. I found the book to be quite helpful. Its actually not that easy to find a comprehensive source of information regarding this important topic and this book does an admirable job of explaining the ins and outs. Its well written and clear. Not the most entertaining topic, but nonetheless, presented nicely.

This book help give me a larger understanding of credit cards, insurances more. This will defintely be a staple in my collection

I got this after reading a good review about its content. After I got it, I saw so much of what I already knew that it didn't give me what I was looking for. This is a good book for folks who need a full picture of how credit works, so it has merit as an educational item to help them get started. My 3-star rating is my opinion on what I was looking for. Others may find it worth a higher rating, so keep that in mind.

This book was very well organized, and easy to read and understand. I found it helpful to learning how to improve my credit score, plus better handle aspects of my personal finance.
