Useful luggage or bow scale w/ caveat
This is a very effective luggage or bow draw weight scale. Having the "C" (calculation) or "P" (peak weight) settings is very useful. The scale fits very well in the hand and has a very easy to read digital display. The only reason for a decreased rating however, is that the instructions have typical misspelled words and are flat-out wrong. The instructions say to push the power button to turn on and to press and hold the button for 3 seconds to turn it off. This is incorrect. To turn it off, simply press the power button once and it'll turn off. "No big deal," you may say in response. Well, it is a big deal, because by pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds, you cycle between "C" and "P" (calculation and peak) settings. "Wait, the display only reads kg?!?" The description of the item here on Amazon clearly states at the time of my purchase and this review that it works for kg, lb, oz, and grams, but there are no instructions on how to cycle through these. Thanks to a couple of reviews, I saw that if you press the power button within 1-2 seconds of turning the scale on, it'll cycle through. This is an important piece of info for the instructions... Oh well. All this said, the scale is very useful, works well once you work past a the caveats mentioned above, and was priced right at <$10.

Nice Draw Weight Scale
It’s working great so far. It is easy to set up and draw with and has a very secure hook.

I would not use this brand for this peticular tool.
I actually drew my how to check the weight after putting new strings on a bow of mine, and the hook part detached from the tool. I am now in tge emergency room with a throbbing hand, and a sore shoulder. I was lucky and it failed about a quarter of a way threw the draw. The hook part slapped my hand, and the peep sight came entirely out of the bow. I have pulled muscles, and a contusion thankfully. It could have been a whole lot worse. My bow could have broke in many ways, and so could have my body.

Instructions here (good quality device, useless instructions)
The instructions it comes with are outdated and wrong and worthless.Instructions:1. Press the power button repeatedly as it turns on to change units. If you wait more than a few seconds, you can't change units again until you turn it off and back on.2. Press and hold the button to change between "C" (constant) and "P" (peak) modes. In Peak mode, just draw the bow and it will store the highest poundage it saw. In constant mode, draw the bow and hold it 3-4 seconds at full draw and it will store the let-off value.3. Press the button to turn off. Press it again to turn on and tare.Always nock an arrow and aim at the ground or at a target when testing the draw weight in case the device breaks and dry-fires. You'd rather not destroy your arm, face, and bow. This is especially important for draw weights > 40 lbs.The end.

Good value
I got this to measure my draw weight on my recurve bow. It's pretty simple to use. I recommend using an arrow knocked so that you don't accidentally drive fire. It does the job and was easy to use at a reasonable price.
