Excellent
Great product. Works perfectly in workshops I facilitate. We use this for a journaling exercise in a stress management activity. Paper dissolves as described.

Nice ofr my project
These were laid in glycerine soap, which we have done a lot of ties. This time some of the papers separated in the soap, and they needed to be tossed. Maybe the papers were a little old after printing, maybe the humidity got to them. Don't know, but this flaw cost a lot of time and money. So we will be printing and using ASAP after this. I was using the 2 pt, but when they adjusted the printer at the printing shop, it would no longer feed the lighter paper. No one in town could do it on 2pt.

Nifty
My stepfather passed away recently and we decided to have a celebration of life for him. I saw a bunch of “write a message” cards online but I thought they would be awkward for most guests. We didn’t know any of his friends really and the family circle is small, so I wanted to give people a way of conveying a message, but keeping it more private… so let’s have guests write a message to my step father, instead of to us.I had a vision! As a kid, I remember having invisible ink and then started to think it would be cool if there was a paper that dissolved… a little search on Amazon and whapow! Water Soluble Paper! We cut all the sheets down into 4ths (4.25x5.5 inch) and left out some roses and string on a table along with some basic instructions, an example and a couple vases with water in them. Each person wrote something they wanted to say to my stepfather but never could.. either a secret or a personal message.. or a simple goodbye. Then they roll up the note, tie it to the base of them stem and place it in the vase. The notes dissolved within seconds and everyone thought it was a great idea. Whether you are religious and believe in the afterlife or if you believe someone is gone forever once they pass.. writing something down gives you some sort of outlet. The dissolved messages can be poured somewhere where they have meaning to the person who passed or their family (grave, yard, ocean, countryside).. or they can be used to water a tree in honor of the person. The paper is typically made from Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose which is wood pulp and cotton lint… so it’s actually very environmentally friendly, safe for animals and biodegradable.

Water Soluble for a water burial
Family used this paper to write farewell messages for a water burial and we wanted to be conscientious of the sea life. This paper solved that. Great quality and thickness.

Encaustic collage image transfer
I use Smartsolv paper for encaustic image transfer, printed with a laser printer (critical, cannot use ink jet). It is WAY easier than using copy paper. Attaching an example of a recent piece that I completed using the paper.

Really Neat Product!
I've been buying clay transfer sheets and happened to come across a YouTube video that said you could make your own with this! What a time and money saver!
