GARRISON 2477801 R-410A Through-The-Window Heat/Cool Air Conditioner with Remote Control, 8000 BTU, White

I purchased 2 of these units. Both quit blowing cold air after 1year. I'm not at all happy. I'm in a fixed income. Had a little extra money. Thought it might work for a few yrs b4 I had 2 but another one. I am not at all happy. I'm getting the run around getting it replaced.

AND THE PICS I POST KEEP GETTING REMOVED!!!I'm very upset right now. We got that Arctic blast that came through it is 20° the wind chill is lower and a friend of my father moved into this side room that my father built and this is his only way of getting heat and it's not working . We purchase this on October 16th it arrived defective, it looks like the forklift jammed into the side of the box which damaged the coils. Should have returned it right then and there but my brother-in-law said it shouldn't hurt the unit working and it worked but today is the first day of this Arctic blast and it's not working and because we didn't get the warranty as of now they're only giving us $100 credit and it wasn't over $400 unit so I would not in any way shape or form order unit from them.

Not too terribly noisy. Heats wonderfully, haven't tried the cool yet. Easy to install, easy to use. Finally got to try the cool. Works good, not too terribly noisy. The only issue we have experienced is it freezing up when it's not really hot outside. It's only happened twice and it was in the low 70's outside but little humid so we had the air conditioner part going.

I bought this product because it was one of the only window units that both heats and cools and runs on a regular 110v receptacle. I thought this would be overkill because my space is not very large - only 10 x12 feet, but this product barely heats or cools at all. When running on heat, the air that the unit pumps out is lukewarm and when on AC it is more like a fan. It is not functional unless the ambient temperature outside is really mild already and even then it might make a difference of a few degrees. If the temperature dips under 55 or goes over 75 it is very uncomfortable. Very disappointing considering the price tag.

Bought because it’s advertised as a cooler/heater…. Well the heat doesn’t work. Cools great.Put in for return, and the seller expects me to pay postage on a product that doesn’t work? Postage will literally be 1/4 of the cost of the AC.2 stars until I get this resolved with customer service for the company.

I bought this for my neighbor, who is wheel chair bound with MS. The unit is so quiet, and the remote control is wonderful! Looking forward to cold weather so he can test out the heat feature! I may have to buy one of these for myself :)

IT IS NOT A HEATER! it doesn't even blow out warm air. I thought it was broken. Nope. It's an AC that is way over priced. To send it back would cost over 100$. And they make you pay for the box if it is ripped at all. So I just kept it because at least I didn't waste 150$ on absolutely nothing. But basically. I got SCAMMED!
