as an herb stripper, not so much! I grow all my herbs, cook/bake every day - my lemon thyme (see pic), even with three stems was so so, a no go for me; easier and quicker to do by hand. Parsley was okay but I use the stems, I'll just cut up with scissors. Basil worked pretty well but too much damage to leaves for me and again, I use the stems in my food leaves only atop food served. Oregano worked well and I will continue to use with herbs a day old or even dried.

so i was skeptical... but bought it because i thought it was cool to have the veggie/herb stripper and it's width. i was looking for a dough cutter for feast of unleavened bread coming up. what i didn't consider was the angle of it, that it's not just a straight cutter. I love to cook on my cast iron skillets and it has been AMAZING scraping while i cook w my oxo skillet spatula. it's super easy to hold and i'm able to scrape up hashbrowns (this morning) with ease with the angle. i've also chopped onions and nuts on the cutting board when i got lazy with the knife. i don't know about you but i get slippery lizard fingers in the kitchen. i like the feel of the textured wood that doesn't slip out of my hand, not the cold, slick metal. i don't know what other people are talking about re: the handle popping off but if it does, i'll pop it back on because i dig it that much. i still haven't used the stripper yet but i'm getting ready w some fresh kale... dude.... GET IT.

Handle is the perfect size and I love how easy this is to clean. The words are a little difficult to see but that's because I'm old! LOL
