Water is terrible where I live, so I attached this filter to the water line that makes ice cubes in my refrigerators freezer. Super easy to install with great results. All of our drinks taste much better.

We needed an inline filter for our fridge to get rid of the slight taste in our ice maker as well as decrease some minerals in our drinking water since we live in a hard water area. Very easy to install & came with mounting hardware to keep everything secured to the wall. It feels sturdy enough and with heft that I hope it lasts for a good while before replacing it. So far, it has decreased the sediment in the ice when it melts and both the water and the ice doesn't have an odd smell. Tastes a lot better!

Easy to install only took 15 minutes. Definitely improved the taste and smell of the water as well as the ice cubes. All the parts you need are included is worth the money.

Using to replace broken internal filter on my whirlpool refrigerator. I discovered if I just remove the Pure filter that stopped flowing, everything still worked( ice, water) it just was not filtered any more. This external filter will now replace that. This filter accepts standard 1/4 steel braided supply lines. I just need to buy and additional 1/4 line that was 12in long to connect other end of filter to refrigerator. This filter is larger and should last a year, vs the old internal filters that only last 3 months. Saved on fixing refrigerator and now saving on filter cost!

I got a new Samsung Refrigerator with the optional Automatic Ice Maker installed. I ran a new water line to the fridge and had the choice of getting a pex adaptor fitting for $8 or this water filter that does the same thing for a little more.It was a no brainer. This thing is really easy to install, and come with everything you need to connect this to a pex line, the supply line, and mount it wherever you want. They also include teflon tape for leakproof connections. You can use a screw, but they include easy sticky mounts as well. This supposedly last for years, and only using it for ice, I don't doubt it.I am very pleased. The only thing that would let me down is if this thing suddenly leaked. If that happens, I'll be sure to update this review.
