Great drill bits
Great drill bits made by Vessel, a good tool manufacturer.

Great driver bits.
If you have a Vessel driver that uses this style of bit these are perfect. They will fit other 1/4" hex drivers too, but note the detent location on these is deeper than the typical US style of bit. So on other brands of driver handle or adapter that use a ball detent these may not lock fully since they require a deeper recess.

Works with Vessel electric screwdriver
Since these are Japanese spec bits the locking portion is longer (13mm) than standard bits (6mm). They will fit into standard magnetic bit holders, but won’t lock into most standard locking bit holders… except the Wera RAPIDAPTOR. The Rapidaptor will lock both style bits

Excellent for JDM Makita impact driver
Vessel JDM Star bits work excellent with Japanese Makitas and other Japanese spec impacts. I had no problems. Do not buy for US impact drivers as they will not insert intothe chuck.

Love Vessel but these are terrible
I have a Japanese made Makita driver, and I have a great many Vessel bits for it. I love all of them, they're very high quality - except these. The cut on the tips of these must have a slight cam because they jump out of the head of the screw constantly. I mean, just a terrible bite. I haven't stripped out flush head GRKs like this since I used Ryobi gear. Dreadful. I've ordered some Anex torx bits with13mm anvil, and we shall see.

Rock solid
Rock solid construction. Should get much work done with these

Why do people like factory seconds
They look like good quality bits. But you have to grind off the base. They are too long for them to work in a quick chuck. Like my basic Makita impact driver. Bit just fall right out You can also tell by the pictures. Just one bit in the set had the industry standard lenght. From the bottom to the groove.
