The box arrived and I was tall, heavy but not impossible to move alone. If you have a lot of stairs I would seek help- an extra person is not necessary but will make the move easier.I assembled it alone and it took just over 30 minutes. When you first open the box it may strike you as intimidating but it’s not- at all. (My rule is big parts- few screws- fairly easy assembly.)This absolutely applies here. The directions are clear and the parts are labeled. I had nonissue assembling it alone and on the “curse” scale- or how many expletives I use during assembly- it was a 0 out of 5. Not a single issue- extra parts and a URL with a video to help if needed.After assembly I bagged it and moved it to my bed frame. Again, I did this alone and with minor difficulties- making sure to move carefully, etc.Solid product- easy assembly- 5 stars- 4 stars for maneuverability because well, it’s a box spring made of metal and if you’re going to sleep on it it should be study and not a nimble mover.👍

I ordered a queen size foundation that came in today. It was delivered to my door in less than 2 days thru prime. The whole thing is packed nicely and efficiently, as it came in just one long skinny box. Each part is carefully labeled, according to the manual that came with it. And really, it is quite intuitive, the way it must be assembled, so a manual is just a bonus. Everything is snug in place. I am very impressed! The frame is not poor quality, which seems to withstand heavy weight. But since this will be used for the guest room, and it will be used rarely, it isn't really not my major concern. Also, I don't have kids to jump onto bed. The slats are also nicely spaced, so it can hold and support my foam mattress safely. Overall, I am very satisfied and I highly recommend this if you're looking to get a bang for your buck.

This is a perfect product in every way! It's evident that a lot of thought went into every detail, right down to the beautiful full-zip cover. High quality and extremely easy to assemble. It's basically 5 frame pieces that are clearly labeled with slats that press into place, so assembly is intuitive. It comes with a mini ratchet, so you don't need any tools.I recently purchased a new mattress for my elderly mother which left her bed height much too high with the existing 7" box spring foundation. This 4" foundation was the perfect solution!! It brough her mattress down to a safe height. And it shipped fast, so I didn't have to worry very long about a fall out of bed. I couldn't be happier.

This box spring is amazing! I love the fact that its a metal frame and not your traditional wooden frame. Being that it’s a metal frame it’s no squeak and noise free! It was very easy to assemble. All the parts are labeled with clear indications on where they connect. The assembly can be followed by paper instructions or a follow along video. It took less than thirty minutes to set up. The box comes with everything you need to put it together (no extra tools required). It is lightweight making it easy to maneuver but the frame itself is very sturdy. I love the cover it came with. It gives it the look of a traditional box spring.

I haven't slept on this yet, but want to let others considering it know that it's really easy to assemble. Putting aside that the box it comes in was heavy and a challenge to move (I bought a King size), actually assembling this box spring was easy. The parts are clearly marked, the assembly instructions clear (drawings with the appropriate parts clearly labeled), the pieces fit together easily (no mismatched screw holes or other common problems), and the required tools included. I'm a senior woman with below average mechanical skills, and it took me about an hour to put it together entirely by myself.

I was skeptical ordering this but I'm seriously glad I bought it! I needed a box spring desperately, as I was sleeping on only a mattress on my bed frame. It was horribly squeaky and too low, so my pillows fell off behind my head constantly. I ordered this and received it today. It took me and a family member roughly 30 minutes to assemble. Very clear directions and all the parts/tools you need are included! My bed no longer squeaks and it's at a comfortable height now so I'm very happy with this purchase! I will be recommending this to everyone!

This was very easy to put together and I didn't need any help. I'm 72 yrs. old and the hardest part was getting the heavy box drug into the bedroom, but once unboxed everything went very smoothly. It has only been used for 1 night so I can't attest to it's quality yet, but I can't see anything that would be a problem.

This thing was able to withstand my 6'5 220 lbs. husband pouncing on the mattress on top of this box spring to test its durability. It passed with flying colors. I think I have finally found a box spring that he can't kill, and for that I thank you.

This is a great foundation. I bought a new mattress from a warehouse store and it was really thick - 14". My significant other couldn't get up on the bed with the existing foundation, and finding a narrow one locally was impossible. This one is 4" thick and fits the bill perfectly. While you have to assemble it, the pieces are very well made, the instructions are clear and simple, and it comes with a nifty little ratcheting allen key that makes assembly a breeze. Because room was tight, I actually assembled it right on the bed frame, which was no problem. The only thing I did differently than the instructions was to flip the frame and stretch the cover over the top, and then flip it back and zip the thing up, no problem. I did it all by myself. My spouse can now get back into bed without a ladder, so she's pretty happy. No one solicited this review, I just think it's a really good product. I purchased this bed foundation as a replacement for my traditional box springs when I purchased a new Hybrid Memory Foam Mattress from a different brand. The addition of this foundation made an incredible difference in the comfort of an already comfortable new mattress. The Zinus box spring was so simple to assemble. It took around 30 minutes and even though the instructions suggest two people, I did just fine putting it together alone. The cover for the metal frame is high quality and getting it in place was the only part of assembling the box spring that I could have used an extra set of hands. This is a fantastic product and I am very happy with the purchase. * Little bonus they include a ratchet style Allen key for assembly!

It was just what we needed! I was hesitant about getting one of these box springs instead of the traditional wooden frame box springs but we had a very bad experience at Hudson Bay as our wooden box spring was never delivered. That’s when we decided to get one of these. It was delivered just on time and the product was surprisingly of good quality. It was very easy to assemble, it makes no noise at all and it’s the perfect size! Good price too.

Easy to assemble, took me about 20 minutes. I have dachshunds so this bed frame is great for them since it’s low to the ground.
