This is a simple easy way to fix the fuse on a InstantPot and it saves the work of trying to re-solder a new fuse. My InstantPot has an older 2 wire cord and I thought this would be a great opportunity to fix the fuse and upgrade to a grounded cord. Because the 3 wire is a little bigger than the 2 wire cord, the rubber bushing into the pot was bigger. I was able to file some rubber off the bushing and some plastic off the pot to make it work. The company does sell both 2 wire and 3 wire cords so if you want a direct fit take notice of what you have, unless you want to try what I did. I like the idea of having my kitchen appliances grounded and was happy this worked out. The quality of the cord is very good and you will be happy with it.

This power cord does not fit the Instant Pot Duo Evo 6 qt. 1st photo note the difference in size of the main female power connector, the new one is too small (2nd photo). Also, the new one has a white fuse sleeve and looks like the 2 prong model, not a red sleeve as pictured here. Back to the drawing board.
