Mighty Max Battery ML8-12 - 12V 8AH Replacement Battery for APC Back-UPS BE750G 750VA

I got an battery which seemed to work, but only delivered roughly 15% of the advertised 8 Ah when I ran tests on it. I found it 2.5 months after my order, which was outside the 30-day return window. Mighty Battery offered to replace it with a fully tested battery, so I am waiting for the replacement now.My load was 12-13 watt, and the battery only lasted for 1 hr 10 min. For a 12V battery, this is 1.1Amp * 1.2hrs = ~1.3 Ah. I know this was through a 110v transformer of a UPS, which maybe has 20-25% loss, but this still does not explain a factor of 6 of actual capacity vs. advertised capacity.For comparison, a 4.5Ah battery from a new APC UPS has lasted me 1.5 hrs on a 16 watt load, which is roughly 50% more actual capacity in a battery that is advertised as 4.5 Ah! (and the one being reviewed here is 8Ah).At any rate, will see how the replacement performs.

I got this to replace a battery in my APC UPS. The unit was beeping and according to APC support it has a bad battery. I ordered this let it charge up and then put in use. It wont keep my electronics up for 5 seconds. Unfortunately, you can return this battery for a refund. I am just out. I ordered a brand new UPS for only $20 more. I bet it works right out of the box. Lesson learned! DO NOT WASTE MONEY buying batteries that you can't return if they are bad.

I currently have 3, APC Back-UPS BE750G, backup units for 2 computers and a Multi-Media system. After several years of use they require replacements batteries. I replaced the battery in my oldest unit 3 years ago with this same Might Max battery and bought this latest battery to replace it. My other 2 identical units are on year 2 of this same battery replacement and will be replaced in another year. So far no problems with any of the replacements. The battery terminals are a little thinner than the APC originals and the battery lighter, but it's an exact fit in the unit and the terminals connect same as the OEM. Overall a good replacement for the price.

I received the battery a couple days earlier than the estimated delivery time - good! Battery was easy to install and met the same specs as my old battery. I let it charge (over night just to be sure), then did a power fail test and the battery held up for the time I estimated based on my load on the UPS. I would buy it again.

First- the terminals on the battery did not match the plugs on my APC UPS. The battery was specified as a direct replacement for the one that was in the UPS. I contacted the seller and they sent some adapters. I appreciate the adapters but they should just include them with the battery if they are going to market as working with my APC unit. The battery size and capacity does match the original battery. The new battery is working fine. I cannot evaluate the battery life as it has only been installed a couple of months and it should last for years.

This item has done well as of this time. It fit my case exactly as it should. I have read reviews about the terminals being too small and the wires would not stay on. I did not have this problem. They clipped on just fine and stayed attached without any problems.

...saved my big bucks replacing the battery over a new UPS. I used to buy a new UPS because lets face it APC's batteries are almost as expensive as a new UPS. Found these and have been using them ever since. In the last 6 months I've replaced 3 batteries in 2 UPS' that finally died after 2 years. These batteries work great and are far cheaper than the APC batteries.

At first you worry about buying the generic or non-brand replacement batteries, but I have bought several of these Mighty Max replacement batteries over the years, and they seem to last a long time. I put dates on the battery case when I make the replacement, and I know how long they last. Good value.
