I've had these pencils for two weeks, they seem to be working well. I like that I can clip them to my shirt.Update on my review, I've been using the same pencil for about three months, I keep it in my shirt while I'm working. Today it will no longer dispense lead, there is still half a lead left, the button isn't working properly.Even still, this pencil has been a pleasure to use and I'm glad it comes in a two pack!

Two each scribes, blue pencil, red pencil, and plenty of lead. These are a good quality for a professional shop, and well-suited for hobbyists as well.

I have been looking for a mechanical pencil that would stand up to the tough conditions on the job. This fits the bill. The carbon is more than 1/8 inch thick, there is a tip sharpener on the other end. Just push the carbon out a couple of clicks and remove the silver end piece and cut a sharp point. The kit came with 4 pencils and 12 replacement carbons, two of them are red, the rest black. It also came with two metal scribes. 4 pencils, two scribes, 12 carbons, all for less that 20 dollars.

The carbide tipped scriber is good so far. The 2mm leads require sharpening with usage. Addition of a sharpener will be an added asset for a nominal increase in price. Carpenters always look for durable and reliable products such as these as they use markers the most.

These pencils and scribe were exactly as advertised. Great value and quality. I’ve been using these for a while now and all are working great.

If you are into carpentry and you enjoy gadgets, you will love these. More accurate than the traditional pencil. Solid design, comfortable, and a sharpener built into the cap to bring the point back (and I don't think thats in the description). It's good stuff!
