Makes a great cork board. Keeps notes and paperwork visible
I wanted a bulletin board but it seemed difficult to buy. Almost all reviews said the boards had a very thin veneer of cork over cardboard. This pack of cork boards however show that they are solid cork except the thin layer of adhesive since there is no frame to hide the actual thickness. The adhesive sticks right away so be careful placing these. I have one very slightly misaligned, but that is on me. The thickness is as advertised within a reasonable tolerance. It came with the pins so I put it to use right away. **Update: I walked in my office one day and suddenly felt like a rat caught in a sticky trap. I looked down and several of the boards had fallen off the wall and I stepped on one on the sticky side. I placed them back up but this time used a rubber mallet to firmly tap them into place (tap not pound!). They haven't fallen down again.

Exactly what I wanted.
Arrived on time. Easy process to put up. Very strong adhesive. I put cork board over pegboard and it looks great.

Love them but PITA to hang
I ordered these after reading so many reviews that the adhesive on the back sucks, so I knew what I was getting into. At the same time, I ordered a set of large picture command strips to go with them. All that being said...they were still a pain to finally get in place. I tried leaving the backing on them, putting the command strip over it and putting on the wall that way, but they fell. Then I tried hot glue and they fell again because the glue wouldn't stick to the white backing paper. Next, I cut a section of the white paper out, placed the command strip on the built-in adhesive, and hung, but alas they fell again. My latest attempt has been to hot glue the command strip to the part I cut away on the back. So far it is holding but I may have to use gorilla glue to get the job done. Since I knew that the adhesive was an issue, it didn't bother me as much, but if I hadn't known, then I'd say it would be annoying af (and still kinda is, especially for the price). Besides hanging them, the quality is great. I love the size and shape, and they're thick enough for pushpins to not push through the back. The quality is definitely there and dresses up my office space nicely.

great product
Perfect for doing scenery things on my HO layout. The adhesive backing was just enough to keep the cork from moving without becoming a permanent attachment.

The thickness and material worked fine, it hasn't stayed stuck for my application
This review is for 12" x 12" - 1/2", 12 pack cork tiles priced at about $54/pack at the time of purchase. As seen in the picture, my goal was to put up some dartboard backing. It was pretty easy to install. I used a box cutter to cut through to make it fit the size of the door, which worked well enough. Cutting through cork will always make a bit of a mess and you'll never be able to cut perfectly with that method. My complaint is that it didn't stay stuck to the door. I believe the door is an oil-based paint, but over a period of a few weeks, they slowly started peeling off. I also used the cork board to stick to a cubicle wall which is made of a fabric material. It didn't stick well and I ended up putting 2 screws into opposite corners of each cork tile. My conclusion: If you don't mind tacking the cork board up with nails or screws, then this was the best value I could find at the time. If you want to rely on the adhesion it comes with, pay careful attention to what you are sticking it to because it likely won't work. You may be able to buy some double sided tape to go along with it for a better effect.

They go up easy and then they fall off. Several are now broken from falling several times. They seem very sticky but I cannot get them to stay.

While these definitely will stick to your wall if they send you different sized squares and you only realise after putting up the first two (like what happened with me) you will need to be repainting your wall. 2 of them were both one size the other 4 were a different size. They are very sticky but pulled off all the paint on my wall in the process.

Nice thick cork board tiles, really chuffed with these, stuck down fine still after two months. Did sand, clean and paint the plaster with a Matt emulsion so not sure if this is why they haven’t fallen off, they are pretty heavy so I can see why some people are having issues with them falling off.
