This saw blade is awesome! The price is very good! Highly recommend this item... extremely sharp, cuts through hard woods like butter and stays sharp for a long time...

I can't speak for longevity yet but the blade that came with my 14" Jet bandsaw couldn't cut butter! I wasn't able to set it up like the instructions say because the blade started catching on the body before it started to "flutter" first test cut was on a 3 1/2" piece of can't remember the name and it cut beautifully!

Timberwolf are the best blades in my opinion.

This is easily the best band saw blade I have ever had in the forty years that I have been running my Delta 14" saw.I had to RETURN the first one for EXCHANGE because it had a bad weld: it would not track w/o slamming back and forth against the thrust bearing. No big deal: yes, perhaps poor quality control... or just someone asleep at the welder.The replacement blade that I got... with no questions asked, works great!Now I know what they mean when they say it cuts like through butter... it really does. Smooth and fast re-sawing.

runs straight and true. cutting 8" thick hardwood with no complaints. I will be ordering different widths of there blades as I need them. 5 stars

Spent a whole afternoon setting up the bandsaw to use this blade, getting everything at right angles, parallel, and adjusting guides and so on. I'd just added a 6" riser to my venerable Delta 14" saw.Then the tests on lots of pieces of softwood to ensure it was really setup right. And finally to resaw a 9"x3"x36" piece of 12 yr old rosewood. The cut was excellent with few saw marks. Throughput was pretty slow, about 20mins to go through the 36" length but the low tension worked well (was no better at higher tension).We'll see how the sharpness holds up over time...

These blades are worth the money.

The blade is packaged in sealed clear plastic with one piece of thin cardboard on the side against the teeth. No retail Timberwolf box and I have no problem with that as it's priced a little lower than the manufacturer and no shipping charge (for Amazon order total over $35). This is the most cost effective way that I found to buy. There is also a Timberwolf information sheet included that identifies the blade model and has some general information about blades, including some knowledge that I did not know (e.g. blade lubrication and other general knowledge). I have not opened it yet but I have no reason to suspect a problem and it looks right.
