Used these a couple of times. Last night as I went to bite into my corn one of them broke apart. It left the metal prongs in my corn and I had to stop and take them out. The over look and feel is appealing and I would give that 5 stars - but they shouldn't be breaking after only a few times use. Dissappointed in the quality.

Cute & easy to put in corn cob. May come apart if put in lower part of dishwasher, but easy to glue back in.

They are pleasant to hold, very comfortable with the silicon grips. The prongs appear to be well embedded (I had a cob that practically needed a hammer to get the holder inserted and it held up well to hard, constant pressure). I put my set in the dishwasher and they washed well with no problems. The only minor downside is that they are not solid where the prongs attach to the grip. So water gets in there when washing. So even though they come out dry from the dishwasher I had to put them prong side down to drain out the water before putting them away. I'd still recommend these as they are excellent corn holders.

What can you write about a corn skewer? Not much. It either holds up or it don't. The handles are decent size, non slip, the points sharp enough but not deadly. Problem is they break (often) like many corn skewers do. No, I don't stick em in the dishwasher, no I don't wash them under scalding hot water then throw them in a cold sink, they just break. Most of the time while using them. Have you ever had a corn skewer break apart while eating? Yeah, those pointy skewers can end up in your cheek. The search continues for a decent set. I'm older and you can roll your eyes cause you've probably heard it from your parents or grandparents but I'm gonna say it again cause it's true. They don't make shit like they used to. Had a set of corn skewers that were bought 35 years ago that finally wore out. Do I expect things today to last that long? Hell no, but as consumers we deserve more than a year or two from stuff we buy. Especially something like this, right? I mean who eats corn on the cob every damn day? You should get YEARS out of a purchase like this. Yeah it's just a few bucks but dangit nickles make dollars. Try a different type of skewer. Not this one.

My girlfriends kids didn't even know what these were, they thought they were bag clips!...the filthy little animals! Ive had to teach them how to insert them in an ear of corn, remove them, how to clean them, and how to put them together! Id have been better off just going animal style like the future stepchildren of the corn! But, if youre looking for some good corn Skewers, these work great! Do yourself a favor and wash by hand, theyre fine in the dishwasher but I have big hands and I played hell trying to get them from the bottom of the utensil holder!

Good, works well

Not worth the money. Seems good quality but the metal spikes end up breaking right off not long after purchase.

These have two good spikes, one longer than the other so no slipping off. They are a good size and nice to hold.

Absolutely terrible product. Do not buy. I'm breaking 1 everytime I have corn. And it leaves 2 sharp pins stuck in the corn.

I don't like that they come apart but they do what I need them to do.
