Is this dimming or on off or pulse

On/Off only - despite some other answers. Its pretty good though, temp range and difference can both be set, so it doesn't flick on and off between 1 degree at a time only useful for non light heaters; need a dimmer for that, not pulse

How do i set desired temperature so it turns off when temperature is hit?

Use the up or down arrow to select the temperature, press 'set' and then it will regulate the temperature. It doesn't exactly turn off, but it won't heat or cool past the temperature you set it between.
